Thanks for the series UM Videos. As it is always, those videos are awesome. Clear structure, getting the right point when playing and beautiful still images :-) Thanks a lot. We all know how much energy you put into this work 🙂 All the best Frank
At 13:00, is it possible that you show 3 Routine clients but mention 2 Case-Study client? I thought that the blue and red rectangles with the dates were indication on this side of the card showing routine or case-study clients....
Well, it was supposed to be Monday 1st, but I was ill the weekend before so I had to pack that day. It's still high on my list to do, but I have other things higher than it at the moment. My plan was to work really hard this week and do it one afternoon next week, but now I have Covid, so...
Excellent video as usual. Two things aren’t clear to me though: 1. When the Id uses a location bonus, does it use its bright ideas to increase the number? 2. The Id only takes the dreams to deny me using them, it doesn’t get any benefits from them?
Apologies for not going into enough detail in this video. I was due to cover the solo mode solo just before Essen, but didn't get chance. I will find out before I cover it.
Still a little confused over how dreams are resolved for Id. The rules suggest you can cure a patient without ever analysing the dreams. Is this correct?
@@jurds216 You don't take a treat clients turn as such but, at the end of Id's turn, they spend any heart shaped boxes to treat the clients. So they are treated directly rather than through analsying dreams.
I may have nissed it, but when do you remove dream cards from a client? Do u remove a dream when catharsis is reached? And do you gain any of the rewards from a dream?
The Id only uses the dream cards of the clients if they manage to activate the notebook tile that allows them to do so (Red III). Neither the player or the Id remove dreams by reaching catharsis alone (reaching catharsis only removes the grief layer). The Id would get any rewards of a dream, the same as a human would, including grief symbol match.
@@jurds216maybe. But Ego is the part of id that is directly modified by the external world. Which also makes a lot of sense😅 Also it just sounds better. The id vs ego.
@@Michaelrsted it does sound better, I agree with that 100%, but you’re not modifying its actions in solo play. Its actions are prescribed and you carry them out. I mean it’s inconsequential really but imo Id fits well
Peak professionalism as always, thank you!

Fantastic!
With the number of high profile games you played this month, I cannot wait for your September games if the month video 😊
I'm literally editing my September VLOG right now :)
@@GamingRulesVideos That's awesomel. Right before Essen, which will help me a lot (and my wallet) to decide which games I'll be purchasing 🙏🏼
Hello, thank you for this video! But I have a question : when you move the id reputation token, do you also move the id Freud reputation token?
Great video, always appreciate a good solo mode. And a playthrough on Monday I hear?
That's the plan
Do we know when can we expect solo mode playthrough? 🤩

Ad 2: there is a ID notebook tile (brown III) which triggers the effects of one of its topmost Dream cards.

I think that is done with the actual actions on the notebook tiles.

You could have dressed up Paul…
I just wore what I wear to bed.
@@GamingRulesVideos😂
Who are you and what have you done to Paul?
Solo playthrough?
That was planned for the day before Essen, but I ran out of time. Since then, still recovering from Covid and getting more behind on work :(
@@GamingRulesVideos Fair enough. Take care of yourself. Hope you are better soon.
Plz solo playthrough
Coming on Monday - hopefully
@@GamingRulesVideos thank you, i hope my game coming on monday too XD
Not calling the solo opponent Ego is a missed opportunity.
Not really. The id is the impulsive subconscious part of the brain. It makes perfect sense actually
