Thanks again Paul, having a full series on this game is making a world of difference in our enjoyment of the actual product :) Concensus on which expansion to use or not ? Throw in the whole thing or some feel superfluous ?
I've not played with any of the expansions myself. Some of them seem fairly simple to add in, but the game is already quite complex, and I am often teaching new players, so rarely use any expansions.
Great rules video. The cracks on the madness dial are slightly confusing to me. I get that when you transfer madness it goes into the crack. Basically you can choose any crack that’s touching the level it’s on? But what happens hypothetically if the crack is full?can it then skip over it and be normal? The bottom one you said can be transferred without going in a crack, but since the right one is touching the bottom could you slide it into the madness if you chose?
Yes. In short, whoever has the least madness of all the players does not get negative points from their madness, as the tokens get discarded (you may think of it as madness being relative; you might all be crazy between yourselves, but some are crazier than others :P ).
The base game is full and complex enough as is. To me, this is not cut content, it is not needed and base game plays great without it and I don't think anyone would feel like they miss something if they just play the base game. This is a full on expansion to me that adds enough.
@@penoesh Ineed. The original poster has left similar comments on my other videos without any real explanation. I think they just don't like a game coming out which is split into a base game and an expansion. They have a point, but to call it a "cut content scam" is way too far. If the content in this expansion were included in the base game, it would have made the game a lot less accessible and more expensive. Give the expansion stuff to those who want it - not to everyone.
"we need a how to play video" Paul - In a 3 piece? Got just the thing for it, been waiting for just the right moment for it. Looking good brother.
Thanks. It´s a pleasure to watch your How to Play video! A very clear explanation 🙂 Thanks for all the effort you put into this video! Frank
Fantastic explanation! Thanks!
Man this looks fun, have to look into picking it up. Thanks for the video Paul.
Looking slick Paul
Thank you very much Paul!!! I cannot wait to play the game!!
Looks great. Thanks Paul.
It looks amazing

Numerous ways to play the game! I think I will stick to the base game for now.

I don't think you can transfer into it if it is full.
So you subtract madness points “after” removing the amount of the lowest madness?
Yes.

Nightmares can be cute 😅
cut content scam in plain sight.
Sorry, I don’t understand this comment. Can you explain

@@GamingRulesVideosno better example than Anachrony vs Anachrony plus the Fractures of Time expansion. Both massive in scope
