Mimosa trees are very pretty….also known as Umbrella Trees. I like evergreen trees, too. My favorite is the Magnolia Tree. Beautiful leaves as well as flowers.
Here in West Texas, they're considered invasive. They are not sold in plant nursery's. I bought mind off the internet 20 years ago and love it.
Beautiful mimosa trees are fast growers, provide lots of shade, and are easy to grow in a variety of conditions. Before planting, consider that they are messy trees that spread quickly and are invasive. Mimosa seedpods are toxic to dogs and livestock.Jan 25, 2024

Rae, I grew up with Mimosa trees too and adore them. But, they are dangerous if the dogs get hold of them. It can make them real sick. The pink flowers. Please be careful. Y'all are so blessed to have friends, family, & neighbors so willing to help out to help y'all achieve the dreams you have for your property. As a busy, single mom I wish I had even a bit of that down here in TX.
I spent hundreds of $$$, I couldn't really afford to spend, to get my riding mower fixed so I could mow my 3.5 acres and it lasted a whole 2 hours and conked out again. Been praying for a too good to be true deal on another mower ever since or for a kind neighbor just to stop and ask "Hey, need a hand?" The world needs more kind and caring people, for sure, but God has surely blessed y'all with some of the best.
Thanks to your friend Brock whom came to your farm Chad to help you out. I have watched his videos at times and he does fabulous work..kudos to him.

You should check for a chocolate mimosas trees, have beautiful maroon chocolate leaves but have the pink puffy flowers. Won't be disappointed!

You’re gonna like what that machine does!!! Eaten it up!!! Mimosa is my favorite!!!! We use to have 3 in our yard and something called welting disease killed them all! Oh wow Rae, you’re gorgeous in red. I say that because I’m the mother of 3 daughters and 3 granddaughters and I buy them clothes and they love how they look in them. Love you guys. I'm so sorry that you keep having issues with stuff. But like you said, maybe there was a reason for the equipment to keep failing. Brock sounds like a really nice guy and sounds like a good Christian. How awesome it is that he kept reminding you of how blessed you are. We all lose sight of that when we're caught up in the moment.
I don't have a farm will never have one (too old and 0$) but I reeeally love watching channels like yours and to watch a machine go through and chew up weeds, trees and brush like the one Brock brought over! Just like I love to watch Daniel on Arms Family Homestead use his different equipment to clean/clear up his property or help others. I have always want to try driving a riding lawn mower. On my bucket list. LOL! But watching those guys run those machines like that, just awesome!

Listening to your conversation takes me back as well, I used to head up into the wooded area behind our house and hike for hours, usually ended up at the top in the same peoples back yard no matter what direction I seemed to take, miss hiking. Is fescue safe for livestock? I thought is could cause reproduction issues, weight loss, etc., due to fungal endophytes, as it produces ergot-alkaloid compounds that are toxic to cattle. Just curious as I am not all that familiar with it, but have heard it can be an issue.
I just want to say thank you to you and your wife. I have been watching your channel for a little bit of time now. But I love your content specially when you talk about your relationship with God. I have a relationship with God but sometimes I feel I'm not doing his work or his way. When I come to your channel and I see some of the things you've had to go through. It helps me to understand the things I'm going through. I have bit my tongue so many times, with things that I have gone through here lately.
