Lithium-Ion chemistry batteries charge in two modes. First Constant Current (CC) and then Constant Voltage (CV). These batteries first charge in CC mode and starts in CV when it reaches closer to full voltage. This is seen when the battery percentage reaches 90% (CV). The 12v battery should not be a problem as long as its not recurring.

Horn being tight in the center is present in my Tata Altroz Petrol as well. Sides work very well. After a while you get used to pressing on the sides only. The issue mentioned with the 12V battery might be a one time occurrence since the battery was new an unused for a while. After few charge-discharge cycles it should be okay. The fact that the owner of this car also drives a Ford Ecosport gives a lot of credibility to his feedback on power and performance. Thanks for this video!
Using Tiago XT Mid Range for 2 months. Done 3000 km. 150 to 180 per charge with AC kitum. without AC 195 are kiti. Maintain proper charge cycle and use regen 2 in cities. Best city car if you have a daily trip of at least 25 km. I am using 40km daily plus about 250 km during weekend. fully satisfied.
Try to disconnect fast charging after 72-75%. Charge rate gets exponentially slower after that for all BMS systems. Use the time saved for more wellness+circulation breaks.

ഞാൻ TATA TIGOR EV 11 മാസം ആയി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. എനിക്ക് സാധാരണ ഓട്ടത്തിൽ AC ഇല്ലാതെ 300 KM RANGE കിട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്. ലോങ്ങിൽ 405 KM വരെ കിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കമ്പനി പറയുന്ന RANG 306 KM ആണ്. നമ്മൾ ഓടിക്കുന്ന രീതിക്ക് അനുസരിച് ആണ് റേഞ്ച് കിട്ടുന്നത്. കഴിയുന്നതും അത്യാവശ്യ ഘട്ടങ്ങളിൽ അല്ലാതെ ബ്രേക് ഉപയോഗിക്കരുത്. ആക്‌സിലേറ്ററിൽ തന്നെ അഡ്ജസ്റ്റ് ബ്രേക് ചെയ്യുക. Km / h 70 ൽ കുറഞ്ഞു ഉപയോഗിച്ചാൽ 400 റേഞ്ച് കിട്ടും. AC ഉപയോഗിച്ചാൽ ഒരു മണിക്കൂറിൽ 4 ശതമാനം ചാർജ് കുറയും. TIGOR EV സൂപ്പർ ആണ്. ❤️👍🏻

ഹായ്...ജാൻ tiago ev ആദ്യം ബുക്ക് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഉടമസ്ഥർ 180 km മൈലേജ് കിട്ടുന്നുള്ളു എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ.. പതുക്കെ പിന്നോട്ട് മാറി.. ഇപ്പോൾ ജാൻ 2 മാസമായി nexon ev max ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.. 450km കമ്പനി പറയുന്നതിലും ഒരു 330 കിട്ടും. അതും സൂക്ഷിച്ചു ഓടിച്ചാൽ. പെട്രോൾ, ഡീസൽ വാഹനങ്ങൾ ഓടിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ ഓടിച്ചാൽ 200 പോലും കിട്ടില്ല. Ev ക്ക് മൈലേജ് കിട്ടണമെങ്കിൽ ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് സ്റ്റൈൽ മാറ്റണം. ജാൻ 2 മാസംകൊണ്ട് 7000km ഓടിച്ചു. പെർഫോമൻസ് വൈസ് ev ഒരു പടക്കുതിര തന്നെ... കംപ്ലയിന്റ് ഒന്നും ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല. അഥവാ ഒരു കംപ്ലൈന്റ് ഉണ്ടായാലും പേടിയില്ല... കാരണം tata നൽകുന്നതിലും service.... Today only we visited tata motors showroom for tiago ev base model. the acutal range they said is 180 ( co claims 250). similarly, in the top end, co claims 315 where as you have clearly explained that it is only 250 ( 84% = 178 km in your dashboard) that translates to 210 km. two things worries us. 1. no stepney 2. range in base model. i think it will not go beyond 160 km max. Try to take a test drive with Citreon EC3.suspension is awesome,spacious and more boot space and with steppinie tyre.But interior and some features are just average comparing to tata EV's .Do both EV's test drive and chose what you like.Difference between both cars is 1 lakhs only.
Hello, What is your opinion about buying a Tata Tiago EV or a Citroën EV or upcoming EVs in 2024 starting amd Mid. I have seen many reviews about the Tiago EV. Some mention that when driving in the rain or through waterlogged areas, the car suddenly stops due to water getting inside the car. Is it a good option to buy an EV now? I am taking a loan for this purpose, and with the rising petrol prices, it makes sense to consider an EV to save on fuel costs, which can be used to pay the EMI. I am buying the car for family purposes, and we don't do long rides daily. I work out of town and come home only on weekends, and I might use the car or two-wheeler. We need to visit family members once a month, and the distance is around 75 km one way, so 150 km in total. The rest of the time, the car will be in the garage, and we would use it only in rare cases like for hospital visits, shopping, or urgent matters. So, what is your opinion? Should I go for an EV? I am particularly concerned about the Tiago EV's issues related to driving in rainy conditions and through waterlogged areas. Previously decided to buy taigo and move to punch and move to Altroz but petrol cost and EMI cost would be little trouble so at that time EV in my mind but due to these issues makes me convert to petrol.. To my understanding, there is no starter motor for EVs. So why do you need a separate 12V battery for turning on the vehicle to drive mode? Did they give any clarification on this?
12V battery is needed to actuate the Electronic Control Units as all accessories and ECU are built on 12V architecture. Whereas the Lithium battery of an EV could be anywhere between 400V to 800V.

I just test drove the Tiago EV.. Overall my feedback is not positive considering the price. It seemed that you paying for a car similar to an Alto in features an approximate 12 lakhs just because it is electric. You get a higher category gasoline car for the same price with ample amount of features. Again the resale value of a electric car can be very less after a few years since warranty (7 years for Tiago) shall expire within a few years. Just my opinion. I totally respect other who had a positive experience. Thanks.

Horn being tight in the center is present in my Tata Altroz Petrol as well. Sides work very well. After a while you get used to pressing on the sides only. The issue mentioned with the 12V battery might be a one time occurrence since the battery was new an unused for a while. After few charge-discharge cycles it should be okay. The fact that the owner of this car also drives a Ford Ecosport gives a lot of credibility to his feedback on power and performance. Thanks for this video!

ഹായ്...ജാൻ tiago ev ആദ്യം ബുക്ക് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഉടമസ്ഥർ 180 km മൈലേജ് കിട്ടുന്നുള്ളു എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ.. പതുക്കെ പിന്നോട്ട് മാറി.. ഇപ്പോൾ ജാൻ 2 മാസമായി nexon ev max ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.. 450km കമ്പനി പറയുന്നതിലും ഒരു 330 കിട്ടും. അതും സൂക്ഷിച്ചു ഓടിച്ചാൽ. പെട്രോൾ, ഡീസൽ വാഹനങ്ങൾ ഓടിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ ഓടിച്ചാൽ 200 പോലും കിട്ടില്ല. Ev ക്ക് മൈലേജ് കിട്ടണമെങ്കിൽ ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് സ്റ്റൈൽ മാറ്റണം. ജാൻ 2 മാസംകൊണ്ട് 7000km ഓടിച്ചു. പെർഫോമൻസ് വൈസ് ev ഒരു പടക്കുതിര തന്നെ... കംപ്ലയിന്റ് ഒന്നും ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല. അഥവാ ഒരു കംപ്ലൈന്റ് ഉണ്ടായാലും പേടിയില്ല... കാരണം tata നൽകുന്നതിലും service....

Today only we visited tata motors showroom for tiago ev base model. the acutal range they said is 180 ( co claims 250). similarly, in the top end, co claims 315 where as you have clearly explained that it is only 250 ( 84% = 178 km in your dashboard) that translates to 210 km. two things worries us. 1. no stepney 2. range in base model. i think it will not go beyond 160 km max. AC ittal endhakumo. regenerative part manasilayilla. also, what will happen after the 8 year? athum iru question aanu.
Try to take a test drive with Citreon EC3.suspension is awesome,spacious and more boot space and with steppinie tyre.But interior and some features are just average comparing to tata EV's .Do both EV's test drive and chose what you like.Difference between both cars is 1 lakhs only.

What is your opinion about buying a Tata Tiago EV or a Citroën EV or upcoming EVs in 2024 starting amd Mid.
I have seen many reviews about the Tiago EV. Some mention that when driving in the rain or through waterlogged areas, the car suddenly stops due to water getting inside the car. Is it a good option to buy an EV now?
I am taking a loan for this purpose, and with the rising petrol prices, it makes sense to consider an EV to save on fuel costs, which can be used to pay the EMI.
I am buying the car for family purposes, and we don't do long rides daily. I work out of town and come home only on weekends, and I might use the car or two-wheeler.
We need to visit family members once a month, and the distance is around 75 km one way, so 150 km in total. The rest of the time, the car will be in the garage, and we would use it only in rare cases like for hospital visits, shopping, or urgent matters.
So, what is your opinion? Should I go for an EV? I am particularly concerned about the Tiago EV's issues related to driving in rainy conditions and through waterlogged areas.
Previously decided to buy taigo and move to punch and move to Altroz but petrol cost and EMI cost would be little trouble so at that time EV in my mind but due to these issues makes me convert to petrol..
But now I'm thinking back about EVs.

To my understanding, there is no starter motor for EVs. So why do you need a separate 12V battery for turning on the vehicle to drive mode? Did they give any clarification on this?
12V battery is needed to actuate the Electronic Control Units as all accessories and ECU are built on 12V architecture. Whereas the Lithium battery of an EV could be anywhere between 400V to 800V.

I just test drove the Tiago EV.. Overall my feedback is not positive considering the price. It seemed that you paying for a car similar to an Alto in features an approximate 12 lakhs just because it is electric. You get a higher category gasoline car for the same price with ample amount of features. Again the resale value of a electric car can be very less after a few years since warranty (7 years for Tiago) shall expire within a few years. Just my opinion. I totally respect other who had a positive experience. Thanks.

Eventually cells ellam തന്നെ മാറേണ്ടി വരും. മോട്ടറിന്റെ കാര്യം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചത് warranty period കഴിഞ്ഞ സമയം water pump, fan ഒക്കെ കത്തിപോകുന്നപോലെ വണ്ടിയിലുള്ള synchronous electric motor കത്തിപോയാൽ full മാറേണ്ടിവരും. ICE engine അങ്ങനെ full replace ചെയ്യേണ്ട situations അധികം ഉണ്ടാവാറില്ല. വണ്ടിയിലുള്ള electric motor 3 lakhs കിലോമീറ്റർ above or 15 years ഒക്കെ generally കിട്ടുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ കുഴപ്പമില്ല. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പണിയാണ്
