- Off season has finally arrived and we really know how to make the most of it... maybe it should be called organise season
Follow Lucy and see what she's gotten up to so far- from picking up a years worth of Lola's poo off the garden, to running around on the forest trails!

Best part of off season is spending time with family (2 young daughters) and then also playing hockey and snowboarding when I can.
With a number of races occurring weekend after weekend and many distances to choose from, the season can be pretty busy. Number one priority in off season for me is spending time with my loved ones, family and friends! Without their support, I wouldn't be able to follow the sport I love. Well, I can't stop me from doing nothing sporty. So even though the triathlon season can be a long grind, in off season for me I still feel the urge to hammer out a high lactate workout here and then and I do CrossFit to stress my cardiovascular system through a variety of high-intensity intervals.
Thank you to you Lucy and your wonderful team around you and of course Lola for being such a big positive inspiration! Spread Love!

The sheer amount of Lola in the first seven minutes is phenomenal! Also, ball is indeed life!

My favourite off season activity is fattening myself up like a bear going into hibernation. I also enjoy playing with leaf hoovers too! Lola looks like she’s having fun, great video.
Expand the mind with clarity...things like hiking, rock climbing, camping in nature with all that beautiful Lake district area you have...another thing that I love is mediation and yoga in my restful weeks...:)
My fav off-season activity is cross-country skiing. Great for endurance and the ride down is much more rewarding 😊 great vid Lucy

During my off season I enjoy reading books that help me to improve my next training cycle and I enjoy long hikes.
Travelling and exploring new places is best for off-season; time to re-energize while being still active. And on top you have to the chance to try amazing food and meeting interesting people
My favourite off season thing to do is plan adventures or challenges for next spring/summer when the weather is warmer. Also hanging up the road bike and getting stuck into mtbing. Coming home caked in mud is so satisfying
Offseason for me is just eat what I want and don't care if it's good now or not. I love that

My favourite off season activities are hiking up the hills in the Lake District in time to see the sunrise 🌄 and lighting the fire and having cozy evenings in with a cheesy Christmas film 🍿

Off-season is a mental break so you can fall back in love with life/training. Love to binge watch movies/shows and eat all the foods!
Favourite part of off season is going away with the family, taking our dog on adventures, going to the beach, and ultimately just relaxing and letting the body recover!!

my favourite off season activity is reading. I don't always have time to just sit down with a book and read for fun. Winter in Canada is cold and dark long days. Nothing better than curling up with our pups under a blanket with a good book.

Taking time off from training allows for rejuvenation, it allows my body and mind to heal, I love the fact that i don't have to plan anything, i can do what i want, when i want, without feeling guilty. The sound and rhythm of silence is wonderful.

I’m currently doing a 4 week virtual triathlon ‘Kona to Christmas’ run by Smiling Tri Coach. Whilst doing this I have stopped my other activities as being nearly 62 I need to pace myself. I did Ironman UK 70.3 in Bolton as well so again I have had to stop my other favorite activity! I attend a CrossFit Masters class for over 55’s. I love it as it’s just functional training and can be scaled down to the lowest level of ability. None of us lift really heavy weights but it’s great training run by great coaches. Just watched loads of your videos whilst on turbo doing this virtual race. Many thanks for them.
My favorite off season activity is spending time with my husband and our kids. Not having to worry about going to bed early but rather going to the movies or going on dates. Great video Lola is so cute 🥰
Favorite off-season activity is going on long walks with my dog, Jackson (who loves seeing Lola on the tv), working with him to run with me on easy runs but he prefers chasing squirrels and rabbits! Best of luck next year from Florida!

Best part of off season is trying new ways to stay active that I don’t have time for during racing season. Currently trying to teach myself how to swim (your channel motivated me to get in the pool haha). I’ve been watching your videos on repeat to try and get the breathing tech down. I went from doggy paddle to swimming lengths in a few weeks. Definitely a successful off season so far :)
Best part of off season is enjoying longer walks in the cool air and baking festive treats!

I love doing things I wouldn't normally do and keep me active- rock climbing, hiking, even axe throwing!
My favourite off-season activity is allowing myself the time to simply walk and think - no headphones, no podcasts, no electronics (other than for safety) - just the joy of being out in the fresh air and countryside without a workout plan. Its a great opportunity to celebrate the positives of the season gone by and solidify my goals for the one ahead. I find it too easy to be in perpetual motion, always looking forwards rather than pausing for reflection. I live with chronic health conditions and still being able to compete in triathlon is a massive blessing in my life - I never want to forget how lucky I am.

Going to the Christmas market with friends an eating Crepes with Nutella 😍 spending cozy evenings at home watching a Christmas movie! For me this ist the best way to spend off season in Christmas time 😊
