Super cool! Glad it finally got to you!
Can't wait for this one, got my order in :)
I am looking forward to trying it, but will you do samplers like you do with cakes? Thank you.
Well excited to taste this tea, always wanted to taste this tea but could never find one from a decent supplier, now I can taste it since I trust Mei Leaf and Don as the peak of tea supplies here in the UK, thank you for sourcing this tea Don 🎉❤️
Check out Yunnan sourcing
UPS is finally getting my order to me today after going thru customs too. What a hassle.
Is there more backstory for the name? I like that the ripened animal theme has been altered here....
The pool floaty (the Cuddler, maybe) hugs the human tightly around his Hips? Is this a metaphor for the bamboo's loving embrace around the tea? 😂
Or is the human just "Hip" and getting a cuddle from the comforting tea after a long day of fashionable partying?
At first, I thought "hmm-an odd name.." but it may actually be one of my new favorites after thinking about the possibilities.
Thank you for coming to my live brainstorm. 🎉
Hi and thanks for writing. First and foremost we felt that this tea was a bit of a cuddle in terms of experience - comforting and sweet with a feel good vibe. We felt that we all need a bit of a 'lifesaver' hug ever now and again to lift our spirits which is why we wanted to show an 'everyday man' being lifted by a hug around the hips from a flotation device. The absurdity of a person in a suit wearing a children's pool accessory also appealed to us since we knew that the drawing had to be kept simple given the space and so we wanted something that caught the eye. The Cuddler referencing the bamboo around the tea was a bonus!
@@MeiLeafi love it! 😊
Hello mister Mei! I've known your channel for a while but only now I'm starting to get into tea more than just "a cup and a strainer". I really want to get myself some traditional tea making set of equipment - those little tiny tasting cups or the tea sea trays, gaiwans etc etc but I don't know where to start and how it all (is supposed to traditionally) work! You think you could make a video on just that? Just tea making equipment - from classic cups that everybody know to some connoiseur weird lifehacky thingies that you only use in specific occasions. I tried searching for such video but didn't find any. Or if you have already made one I didn't find or perhaps know a good guide could you at least point me to there? Thank you so much!!
I recommend that you watch the video with the title "HOW TO BREW TEA - PRACTICAL STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL" from Mei Leaf. It explains how you can start experimenting with gong fu brewing without having to own any specific equipment, and also covers brewing with the most basic equipment possible which is just a gaiwan and a cup.
@@prcr I've watched that video a few times already. That's not what I want though. I want to learn about all of it just because I'm interested in it and want a whole set of traditional accessories. It's a part of the fun.
Well, I have some babboo shu pu'er tea. It smells great, the taste is also good (with maybe a dry finish), but it gives only like 5 infusions. Then it's over. So, I'm surprised by your tea. If the taste is good and you get like 10 infusions, then it is really good bamboo tea.
That looks like it would be fabulous with some steamed milk
I ordered that day from the "free shipping", but didn't see any indication that the shipping was free. Am I misunderstanding something? It was Nug Potion to Louisiana, US *Wilbanks @Mei Leaf
Shipping to US you have to spend at least 120$ I made that mistake too
