- 🌬️💨 After seeing our panels shift under high winds, we knew we had to act fast before disaster struck. Instead of pouring concrete or using expensive anchoring systems, we turned to what we had on our homestead-MASSIVE BOULDERS! 🏔️

So yeah you can adjust the side struts for the box blade and get them dialed in, it shouldn't move that much but should move a lil bit. On the top strut if memory serves theres two nuts, if you adjust the adjustment nut then run the other nut up next to it and use two wrenches to tighten them up next to each other it should stop sagging.
The PB blaster is great for busting rusted bolts loose for hinges etc etc. Its better than WD40 because its a penetrating oil and its thicker, you will dig it. For a stuck bolt or one you think you might have trouble with, spray it on and leave it overnight and let it work.
Good man using a pry bar to roll over rocks, picking stuff up off the ground results in a lot of snake bites.
@@BillyBlaze7 I think I might be missing the bottom nut on the top strut. Will double check when we get there. PB blaster is on this week’s shopping list.
Yeah man, I recalled a BillyBlaze story right before I picked up that rock🤣
@@7sigmaoff-grid Indeed, they will getcha for sure and it happens real quick too.
I will double check on my Yanmar, we have the exact same tractor, but I believe there's a jam nut on there to keep the manual top link from coming out of adjustment.
My tractor also has factory rear remotes and I'm planning on buying the needed hydraulic top and side links so I can do adjustments of rear implements without having to leave the tractor seat. It's a huge help if you do a lot of boxblade work, or use another rear implement that has to be adjusted a lot. I was thinking if the wind is real bad you can always close in the front back and sides so air cant get under them, or you could pour a long concrete footer above ground on the front and rear and tie into that. But hopefully that rock will work just fine and won't take off in flight. You did a good job with the box blade on spreading that rock.
That hydraulic top link is going to be🔥man. I’ve seen videos and it will definitely come in handy for all the projects you do!
It would be game changer for when I work on the driveway.
Funny, I was just about to grab the rake and then you popped up in my head screaming “USE THE DAMN BOX BLADE!!!!” I understand what you mean now… I could have been using it for damn near everything I’ve done thus far 😂🤦🏾♂️🤣. Been watching box blade videos like a crack head now! Like I said, story of my life… always late but still on-time.
Yeah I think we should be good on the weight. Can add more large rocks if needed. Going to trench on Tuesday, so now I’m trying to learn how to fish 200ft of PV wire thru 2 inch conduit. It’s going to be interesting for sure.
@@7sigmaoff-grid LOL yeah the box blade is a very awesome tool with lots of uses. If I had to pic between a top or side link I think ima go the link route so i can angle the box blade on one end up and down. But eventually I want both top and side links so I can adjust the box blade any way I need it from the seat. its a real PITA to have to get off and do every adjustment by hand. Is your PVC coming in sections? if so you can do that with a product called fish tape. You run that through one end of the pipe and tie it to the cable you want dragged through the PVC and pull it right through, I think that would only work if you do it in sections. Im sure you will figure it out. It will be great to have this project behind you. Ive been working on my car interior since November and just worn out by it and ready for it to be done...I hate projects that drag on when you have one issue after another lol.
I look so forward to your videos on Sat mornings! Love starting my day with your comical and entertaining videos! You guys are awesome!!!❤. Keep up the great work!!!

Thanks so much 😊
High 5 Good job 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️🙏🏽
Have you thought about several chains or cables around the frame. Then bury them in a hole with concrete in the hole.
We chose this earth ballast ground mount system to avoid having to deal with concrete(which is above our current skill level at the moment😉) For now, we are staying within the KISS method for all of our upcoming projects🤣.
Good morning beautiful family
@@feliciarichardson5792 Good Morning Felicia😊
Love your video guys you make me laugh love the dog from Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you Edie! We appreciate you!
Great news the fires didn't come to your property. I know you get so much advice & I've been holding my opinion to see what you do BUT, IMHO you should put the big boulders over the frame area, not in the middle. If a big wind whips up under, you need weight on the frames to keep them from toppling over. Just saying.
The frames are designed with a geo textile tarp that was epoxied onto the frames. Each frame module requires 700lbs between the frames… not on top(per the manufacturer😉)Thanks for watching and commenting.Appreciate you !
@@7sigmaoff-grid Good to know! I willl stop worrying about them!
Nice job now all you have to do is connect them and get them going and you have lights
Thanks! You're right, can't wait for that moment.🤞

If one doesn’t have a sense of humor in today’s world, you will be a most miserable person. Laugh, make fun of yourself and don’t think to highly of yourself. Be kind to others until they show they do not deserve that kindness.
Indeed…Words to live by Roberto! Would be a different world if more people adopted that mindset! We have mastered the art of making fun of ourselves for sure! 😂
