Hi Lucie. What can one say about Lucy and this song. She performed another magnificent performance. Yesterday she released her fifth album. Some of the songs had not been heard by the general public until then. Like “Pie Jesu” which is a duet with Martha. Then “A lighter shade of gray”. This young lady is on her way to stardom for sure. I love your reviews because u seem to say exactly what I’m thinking when it comes to Lucy Thomas! I struggle to find words that do her justice as I’ve already used them in her other songs. SHE DOES TAKE US ON A JOURNEY!!! Only a journey Lucy can do . This amazing lady doesn’t need busy backgrounds, or a load of jewellery n makeup on her. In fact when there’s a blank background it just highlights LUCY on her own . She has amazing clarity in her songs no matter whether it’s a high or low verbrato . Her pronunciation is perfect as is the way she uses her arms n shoulders to take in that air n lift out spirits. LUCY V, yes she is a nurse in that can make so many feel better just listening to her voice AND THAT KILLER SMILE AT THE END!

I saw Lucy, still a child, winning on the kid's TV talent show and four weeks later was astonished to see her all grown up and singing "Somewhere" from "West Side Story." Each video is better than the last as she develops her very well-trained voice. Martha holds strong promise, too, and together their harmony in duets is angelic. She totally crushes this. And if you haven't reacted to any Elvis presley, there are some astounding live performances, for example his cover of this from 1970 live in vegas. It's really powerful.
Shortly before this popular video on RUclips live in Vegas in 1970, Paul Simon had seen Elvis perform this live in Madison Square Garden in New York City any basically threw his hands up and said, well it is Elvis's song now!
