The transparency film idea is GOLD! Im so glad it works with inkjet. I have several packages of it because I occasionally make my own silkscreens so this is amazing!😊❤
Nice, I've used all four methods but prefer transparencies and the alcohol nail polish method. The powders are very expensive but they last a long time. Thanks, short and to the point.
I love your ingenuity and talent, your projects are so charming and fun! I have lots of scrapbooking supplies and a “small stores worth“ of stamps, you have opened so many possibilities! Thank you so much for all you share!!❤
I hadn't seen any of these transfer methods before so this video was a wonderful surprise! I'm going to try them all to see which ones I like best. I really appreciated the quality of your video and the way you had everything all set up so you could quickly go from one demonstration to the next without flipping a lot of things around the screen. It was nice having all the techniques on the screen to compare the results to each other. Just FYI, the background music made it very difficult to hear your voice. It would be helpful on future videos if you would lower the volume considerably or just leave it out since people are tuning into your channel to listen to the information you are sharing rather than the music. Thanks for sharing these great options for transferring images to clay.
Thank you for your feedback and I am so glad you liked this video. I will definitely lower the music volume next time. I put it there to kinda hide my wired accent and awkward pauses 😅🤣 I don’t have self confident🥲

I watched this back when you first put it out and again today. Perfect title as well because I just typed in printing on clay and yours was the first that popped up. Thank you soo much for taking your time to show us/me how to print on clay. I'm just dipping my toe into polymer clay and i found this very informative.🤗
Hi, thanks 4 the tutorials. My fav was the acrylic marker transfer with paper and nail polish remover! I will try asap bcoz I really like polymer clay crafts 😊👍

New Sub 👍🏼 These are great print ideas. I do have a lot of white clay and alcohol ink. Im excited to try this ,and, catch up on your content too. Thank you and happy crafting 🖌️🙂
Subbed 😊 Thank you for this, I am still new to this and wonder what would be the best method to sand down my piece after baking considering the printed image.
Thank you so much for showing us your techniques! I've learned a lot! I was wondering if you seal after baking? Also, do you know if the print is durable and lasts a long time on the clay after its baked? Or will it fade, rub off, etc? Thank you!
Generally if I use mica powder on the clay I would seal them because it rubes off (not completely but still…). For the ones with ink it is good to seal but not necessary imo. I haven’t sealed any of these and they look great even now. 😊
Hi Ela, I really liked all of these ways of adding designs to polymer clay. I only knew one of these ideas before I saw your video today. Thank you for posting it, it opened up a whole new world of ideas to me in using polymer clay. Would these designs be possible on air dry clay also? Thanks for giving me this inspiration. God bless you and all those whom you love, now and always. Have a great day!
Hi Rita 😍 Thanks for the sweet words ❤️🙏 It is ready exciting to know we can make prints on doll’s skirt and clothing 😍 I haven’t tried it with air-dry clay yet but I would guess it is possible on the homemade ones. I will try and keep you updated 🥰 God bless you dear ❤️🙏

The normal ones are better than ones that are designed for printer. They should be slippery on both sides. If you use the ones that are made for printer, you should print on the slippery side.

This video is great. Thanks for sharing these tips. Does the nail polish remover have to contain acetone? Also could you print a design onto normal paper to use this method? thanks x
In my experience some of the inks won’t come off after baking, but for the ones that do, I use Fimo glass/matt varnish depending on my desire finish. You can also use resin, or any other sealers compatible with your clay brand.
Hi, thanks for your tutorial was great. I have a question, I have tried several times to do the inkjet printer paper and acetone method and I don't get any ink transfer and I can't figure out why this method isn't working? Any ideas?
The printer transfer only works with transparent film (the non sticky ones or if you use the ones meant for printers, use the non sticky side). For the other method my nail polish remover is acetone free, maybe try that ☺️❤️
00:30 - Transparent film with a printer
2:30 - stamps
5:20 - paper and acrylic marker
7:42 - clay cutters and stamp ink
you can also use wrapping paper like Christmas, cut out shape, place upside down & use isopropyl alcohol, it will transfer over.
Yes I made a video on that 😻
Yes I love the stamp method. I’m always checking out the stamps at thrift shops. it’s a prefect way to pick them up at a good price!

With what type of polymer clay can you transfer it to the acetate paper and how to print it on the acetate paper.

Where can i get the colored napkins to make this
Thanks for the video which is very useful. Does it have to be polymer clay? Can it be air dried clay?
Some might work with air dry clay but I haven’t tried.
Hi what's that transparent sheet called?
I hadn’t thought of this idea at all. Do the colours change much when the clay is baked?
Not really ☺️
This video is great. Thanks for sharing these tips. Does the nail polish remover have to contain acetone? Also could you print a design onto normal paper to use this method? thanks x
No, mine is acetone free. I tried it and it didn’t work on normal paper, sorry😞

I honestly have no idea 🤷🏻♀️
What name is this transperante sheet
Mam where I get this printed paper. Pl tell me.

I unfortunately haven’t done them on air dry clay. But it definitely worth a try (on a small piece of clay ideally)
@@CoffeeCupids thank you!
What is the white flat looking tool you use?
I think you are talking about cake smoother
What type of gold powder is that you used with the stamp? Mica powder or embossing powder maybe? 🤔
Mika powder I usually use
What is a good source for finding designs to print? Thanks so much.
I try different items such as stamps, wrapping paper, ...
Please tell me what to print the design on so that it can be easily transferred to the polymer paste
I use normal transparent film
do you bake these after you put the print on them?
Yes!
Do you need to adjust the settings on the inkjet printer when using the plastic film?
No, use the normal settings ☺️
When you bake the clay, do they smudge/bake darker or lighter, etc?
I use Fimo and it gets a tiny bit darker but it’s not really noticeable
