Check out his band Einsturzende Neubauten. He’s an incredible front man. 40 years of everything from industrial post punk experimental music to ballads. His stuff from the 90s is some of the best in my opinion.

I only learnt of him from reading about Kylie Minogue performing this song with Nick. Apparently she based her phrasing, pauses....everything on Blixa's performance. Having not seen/heard any of Blixa's other stuff his androgyny in this performance is just fantastic.He very much reminds me of Marlon Brando in his prime. In "On The Waterfront," Brando was a tough, hard man in very masculine situations. However he still had a very soft, feminine aspect to him. Blixa is just like this in this clip. Thanks to Morgan Wolfe for posting it, it's excellent.

As an ardent admirer of both Nick & Blixa, I do not very much like this Nick (so removed, in full performer mode, almost certainly high). I love this Blixa (absurd hat, full passion, almost certainly high). Blixa's eyes are so expressive and fully engaged while Nick pays more attention to his cigarette. Blixa gives a pretty consistently on-point performance of this song so for a real connection between them there are others out there that are more touching. Nonetheless...this is still the shit.
