As a 32 y/o who grew up with Bam as my hero, had the signature audio shoes and everything, there really is something beautiful about seeing a now fellow addict get back to his roots and living life again. Respect, Bam 🫡🙏
9 years clean from down and side myself. I can tell Bam is clean without a shadow of doubt. We were writing this mans eulogy a year ago. Much love and respect Bam 🙏
I'm 40 years old I got to skate with Bam margera in Medford Oregon He was on tour with Tony hawk at that time. Tony hawk's gigantic skateboard park tour. This dude is legendary and will live on in all of us.
I grew up watching Bam. I saw him first in Best of 411 Vol 1. He had a Wheels of Fortune. Seeing him doing good is so amazing. Hope he sticks to this one.
Man I was so scared for Bam a few years ago.. But this is a complete 180 turn around.. I love seeing him smiling and happy again.. Thank you skating and thank you Danii..
good memories !!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanx winkle!! great times in Miami!!! bam amb his wife was very cool people !!! i hope to see you again! MIAMI VICE JAJAJJA
Legend. I'm old enough to remember his CKY vhs tapes. Dude had some of the funniest content back in the day and god bless his wonderful parents he annoyed lol.
I met Bam at Desert West back in ‘97. He was doing sick shifty’s over the pyramid (a trick I also loved doing, but over the hip). I gave him props and asked him his name. He was super cool and ripped! Stoked he’s still ripping.
Atta boy Bam. We are the same age and I grew up watching him progress as I progressed. Never turned pro deck, shoe and shop hook up, but that’s as far as it went. Seeing him overcoming his shit ripping it up still is a powerful inspiration to us all. Well done, dude here here’s the good old days 96/97 represent for life.
so happy to see Bam out skating a bunch again staying sober enjoying himself. good for you Bam. keep it up you don't need the bull crap... I've been there with the drinking and drugs and it's no way to be. been clean and sober for 10 years now not drinking and about 20 years off drugs. i had an overdose on ambien and percosets in my early 20s that literally almost killed me and put me in a coma for several days, when i finally woke out of it the doctor told me with a very serious face "you are very lucky i was able to save your life". scared the crap out of me, the bull craps not worth all the negativity that comes out of it and you can be perfectly happy honestly truly happy without it all. keep it up man.
Bam, thrilled to see you still tearing it up skateboarding at 45 years old. I'm 60 and have a hard time zipping my fly, never mind doing that crazy shit. God Bless you!
Bam's energy is great, puts a smile on my face, awesome seeing him so lively and enjoying the hell out of his time abusing nothing else but his skateboard!
As a long time, childhood fan, I’ve always thought Bam’s “new” life is sad because it isn’t as wild and entertaining and coming from someone who has an issue with alcohol, it just doesn’t seem the same when you take it away but I have been THOROUGHLY enjoying this new Bam content. There’s no pressure on him, his skate sessions are super chill, and he’s still funny as hell. He’s looking great and I am once again looking up to Bam again in different ways in my adult life.
Stay sober, Bam! We need you around, dude! So glad to see you ripping it up again. Been a fan of yours ever since 4:11 and jump off a building video. Keep ripping 🤙
@WinkleTV Bam needs to make sure to understand that he has a track record of Over Training due to his pattern of injuries. He needs to understand NOT many people, can push their bodies like that, so he is already gifted with the rare discipline. So he needs to focus on portioning his meals, (plus side is theirs extra left overs for the next day that will save his wife time from cooking so it's a plus for time management) I lost 10 lbs recently doing this. Once Bam loses MORE weight, his performance in skating, will go up another level and he will essentially have proven to Steve-O, that he was wrong in telling him to "focus your definition of success away from skating" If Bam follows this, he is going to prove to the world that sincere belief with sincere support can make ANY objective in life, become a successful reality. Please deliver this to him Winkle. I too have suffered from the consequences of overtraining and that is what I learned and still have trouble overcoming it. I train 7 days a week but on the 7th day I have to TRY to not push myself as hard, as a way to sincerely give respect to my body by allowing it to recover more than how much I'm breaking it down.
@WinkleTV Bams getting steadily in more shape too but if he is at a plateau just have him remove 1/4/-1/2 of his plate into a Tupperware. That's more left overs for the next day so less cooking for his wife and he will wake up losing 1/4-1/2 lb of fat off just ONE day. And saves time not having to cook the next day because it's in the Tupperware 💪💪💪💪
I love Bam. You know how hard it is to do this when your body can't take that much weight? And if people are judging him about his weight, wait until you or one of your skater homies gets diagnosed with a mental health problem like bipolar disorder, and the meds pack on weight that won't go away. It's a tragedy what happened to Bam, but his passion for skating should reinforce our love for him. There's not many dudes that can do what he's trying to do.
