Powered by Jakadofsky Turbine, Bavarian Demon 3X FBL, Optotronix Lights, Rocket Launcher also from Vario, 6mm with an Pyro Effekt Rocket. Weight is about 23KG with 4.5L Fuel, so you can reach Fligthtimes up to 20min.
Too bad you couldn't use the Airwolf theme music with the video (probably copyright issues), the helicopter sounds cool and nice touch with the rockets. Great flying as well, Stringfellow Hawke would be proud. Airwolf was one of the coolest shows on when I was a kid. Good job.
It's a beauty to behold, that's for sure! I miss the original Airwolf series and this brought back the nostalgia I have for that era. I would love to own one of these someday.

I can hear the music and String say "give me turbos Dom" when I watch her fly. I love that show, especially when they enter the lair and just admire her. I used to stop the video tape and admire her too. She is a beautiful RC version. Excellent piloting skills. Thanks for the road down memory lane.

This had me drooling, always dreamt since i was a kid watching the show back in the 80's to own a awesome replica just like this. Great piloting indeed, superb craftsmanship as well. Wow, just wow.
Good to see the level of care & attention behind the camera was equal to what was happening in front of the camera - whoever shot the video did justice to the hours upon hours of assembly, aerial ordinance testing, maintenance, etc. it took to make this flight possible - pretty sure Stringfellow Hawk and Dominique Santini would approve
It's a 30 year old tv show helicopter but it still looks so cool. Everything else from that time period looks so dated but the airwolf helicopter still looks awesome.
As said above the Bell 222/230 is a beautiful design for an executive heli even by today's standards. That was part of the point of Airwolf, after all, a "wolf in sheep's clothing", a CIA blackops helicopter gunship disguised to look like an ordinary executive transport.
To add to the above, the Bell 222 was a good looking helicopter and Andrew Probert is a frikken genius. He was also responsible for most of the USS Enterprise from 'Star Trek The Motion Picture' and the Enterprise D.

Yes, and it's very easy to see how "fake news" can be manufactured. If you just saw this video on someone's phone, without knowing they were RO you could swear they were real. It's almost scary if it wasn't so freaking Awesome!!!
Marc Draco yeah... and as I watched Airwolf on Netflix, I could see where the producers started to film him in scenes where he was super drunk. As they would put him in a scene where he was sitting and leaning on something. His eyes always had that "closed" look anyways.

Watching the show you'd definitely know its from the 80s but still, that chopper has one of the coolest designs. That was one of my favorite shows when I was younger. That song was so awesome(totally 80s synth)...I'd recognize it in a room full of radios all playing different songs at the same volume.

surf403 it's roughly 7-8k without radio or supporting equipment. The kits aren't expensive the jakadosky are the most expensive component. 4-6k
