The build quality of the trails was impressive and then there's the riding! Brandon Semenuk justifies why he is paid to ride for a living, has a major bike sponsorship and is a Red Bull athlete!
@@ppbur I'm not making any opinion about his pay but riding like that doesn't normally result in having to do a forty hour work week like the majority of the world have to!
There’s literally only a select few people that even have the nuts to try jumps this big, let alone flip them or do a completely sideways whip. He gets paid not only for his skill but the risk factor as well
@@krazed0451 that's honestly Semenuk's fault. He consistently pushes the bar higher on himself, so even an edit on this level seems almost expected. Being the goat is tough. Ha And I'm pretty sure "incredible" is hardly a word that's tied to being "understated". Go complain somewhere else ya weenie.
I works with the visual and audio track as an overarching aesthetic. As a rider who's trying to capture every glimpse of flow style it may mess with your head I guess.
Shake my head reading these comments....the filming and editing only enhanced the insane riding. Clearly they did something different from the norm to get this many comments regarding the editing. That's a win in my books! Keep up the creativity/ progression. Amazing work all around!
Dude's my neighbor. Took the kids out for a walk today and accidentally found this trail. It's way more of a work of art than you can tell from the video, which is kind of a shame. It's truly amazing. Looked up this video after walking the trail.
Ha ha. It only takes a few bucks to bypass knock block. As i don’t barspin - that’s a young punk thing - I’ve never found knock block a problem. Even on extreme switchbacks.
Ry Allwright: It is a Fuel EX. That’s the whole point of the vid. Trek sponsors him. He won Rampage 2019 on a Trek Session. ruclips.net/video/9-rL463HPQA/видео.html
Its different ... I like it. Feels like a car chase scene. Yeah, its good to mix things up. Variety is the spice of life, and this vid is friggin spicy.
Awesome trail. Superb track build and an absolutely insane rider. I love watching this stuff. Being an Enduro rider I sometimes think we have a screw or 2 loose but these MTB Riders are on another level again. Love it
Have to agree with the other comments, too many cuts and strange camera angles. The trail looked sick and we all know Brandon is next level, but the edit was hard to follow.
@@mountainman4418 I'm with you. firstly they don't appreciate the skill and fresh approach to capturing a video like this. and secondly their mind can't actually comprehend the video.
For all you guys complaining about the filming it’s annoying me, being a photographer I can appreciate different angles and shots and they have used those quick unstablised shots at the start of the video to grab your attention because if they were normal shots, what’s the difference between this video and all his other ones? The shaky close up shots also help show his speed he has on a bike rather than just the style, if you haven’t seen him ride fast it is insane with his style and speed he is gifted
When Brandon semenuk rides a bike and you want to make a good video. Just show him. There is no need for fast cuts and crazy camera work. We just want to see him riding :) I love the red bull bike videos. Always a pleasure to watch but this was a bit too much.
The fast cuts at the beginning were a bit much and the shaky cam made it worse. It's ok to experiment but this one didn't turn out so well, take notes and improve on the next project.
@@griffins750 yea but he is right. Like the first half of the video is almost unwatchable. Can't see anything and can't make heads or tails of what is going on because it cuts so damn fast. This could have been so good and it was mediocre at best
Semenuk is the goat of freeriding at least for now at least based on competition numbers for sure. Just check # of joyride, rampage, and overall titles
Tangerine Dream is a perfect backdrop for the riding we all probably aspire to... He rides the way I feel when I think about riding, on the trail, my reality is quite different... but the dream is still beautiful! And damn, that copper is fine!!
Hype AF got me out on my bike. Think thats the point lol. Sick as always... my god... the amount of people including myself that dream to ride that way... GOAT fo sho
Not wanting to take anything away from brandons riding, which is always amazing...the editing/filming/the general mood of the vid was just a big disapointment...not to mention the music choice
The fork doesnt normally hit the frame, normally your cables stop you from on a trail bike. His will have been routed through the steerer tube and made extra long so he can
That’s what I was thinking, it looks like they put a spacer on his fork crown if you slow down the video at the beginning maybe new bike coming out even?
Excellent riding and trails of course, but the lightning fast editing felt like I was watching a Tarantino action sequence, along with the weird amount of close-ups. Took away from the riding IMO.
My god, Brandon is my opinion the most stylish rider, and the control he has jesus. Now where can I get such kind of trail xD?
build it bro
I can’t believe that’s a Trek Fuel EX!
You go to bc find some logging road and built your trail!

Typical incredible Semenuk edit. The frequent and fast cuts were a little too much at times though. It took away from the riding.
Way to understate it...

I totally agree. A bit too much editing. Honestly less editing and zero music is the sickest.
The first half of the video was basically pointless. Can't see anything that is going on.
Agreed. Breaks the continuity.
A bit cut heavy. I definitely appreciate the fresh approach though

Let’s fricken go. So hyped for this been waiting ages
Just the sound of Brandon's rear hub makes your heart pump for more, never alone the skill this guy has.
who ever builds his trails for all his videos is a genius, those trails are a work of art
He didn't build the trails, the trails built him. B.C has many places with both public trails like this, as well as hidden trails like this.

That was something to behold. More twists and turns than an Agatha Christie book. And the camera work to capture it - well done.

I really wish Brandon would enter the vlogging world, he rides a lot of different disciplines and does a lot of cool things aside from riding bikes.
He did the life behind bars which was a vlog type thing
Yeah I really miss those days
Vlogging is for people who want to make money of riding bikes, without being close to good at it. There, I said it...
