As I live in St Albans I can confirm that all of this is very true. There are a lot of markets and it’s very easy to get to from London as they have a train station just outside of the City’s Central.
Thanks for the good memories.. I lived in Hemel Hempstead when I was a kid in the 50's.. and mum and dad used to take me here.. I loved going up the clock tower most of all..
Great. I live in Australia now - I used to live in the flats through the gates opposite the Fighting Cock pub. I was very lucky to live there- bottom of the hill under a fantastic cathedral and with a lake and park as my back garden.
Wow they've put up a new building over the hypocaust and mosaics! I was brought up in Potters Bar and would often take the bus to St.Albans to soak up the history and spiritual aspects of the place!Glad you like it too 👍
I am St Albans born and bread! This really shows our fabulous city off in all its glory!
I’m so glad you think so!
What kind of bread are you?
I love how thorough you are!❤
Thanks!

Great video . We used to live in London & moved to St Albans 8 years ago & now we can’t imagine living anywhere else.
Thanks! I’m glad you like it there.
I'm considering moving there from London too! Any areas of st albans you recommend near the centre?
@@lucyreid3141 - Sopwell Lane area, Bernards Heath or Abbey Precincts they are all nice & very close to the town centre.
