    Thank you for this great video. I have the Toalson and I really like it. I play with it during round robins and cardio tennis, but I go back to my regular racquet during actual matches.

    how about the Wilson Ultra from the early 1980s? 65 square inches. Andrea Jaeger and Aaron Krickstein played with it for a bit.

    Does it fit in 6 point stringing machine racquet mount ?

    Why not go with some of the old or even new wooden tennis rackets. Grays of Cambridge is now making new wooden racquets...

    I have 3 Head Professionals ("the redhead") made from extruded aluminum. I'm pretty sure that you can get them for $5 on Ebay or similar. They weigh 13-15 ounces I think. When you hit with them, you can feel the racquethead wobble back and forth after hitting the ball. Similar to hitting with a wooden racquet. They have a sweetspot the size of a dime. The sweetspot was a lot smaller than typical wood racquets of the time so you had to hit on-center or you got nothing on the ball. Not a great racquet for generating topspin compared to modern racquets.

      @@ROSEMARY-gl7wx I have both and even though the swing weights on paper look close the Toalson feels like a lightweight compared to my PS- not even close. But I was referring to the size, the PS is like Shaq and the Toalson is like Spud Webb. A friend has the Sabre and that's even smaller..that would like Danny Devito.

    Why not just use a Jack Kramer Autograph from Goodwill?

    • @movdqa
      @movdqa 2 года назад

      I have a Maxply Fort, Spaulding Natural and Bancroft Players Special. I can use them for hitting around but I worry that they would break in a match. The JK Autograph was one of the more sturdy wooden racquets, certainly moreso than the Maxply Fort. I did break Maxply Forts but not the JK Auto.

    UGH! That ugly Nike shirt! Terrible styling. Poor color choice. Do training tools like this really work or do they just throw off the player's timing when they resume playing with their racquet of choice?
