That is my dream come true car and caravan set up both absolutely gorgeous! I wish you and your wife many happy trips away and every good luck for the future with it thank you for sharing with us
You are very welcome Paul! I’m looking to buy a caravan this year can you give me any indication of the value of something like your previous coachman the 520, and what sort of year it was? Many thanks
@@SalimKhan-gk1fh our previous coachman 520 was a 2017, you are looking between 16 to 20k depending on condition etc. Prices still seem to be going up, Good luck.👍
Omg ! Best caravan kitchen i have ever seen!!!!! Id love that layout but my hubby wont go without a fixed bed now but i absolutely would . And your bathroom is stunning too ! 10/10 good choice x
Ah it's a great feeling when you get the call to pick it up, look forward to hearing about it in the future. Fingers crossed the for the hand over, hope all goes well and enjoy 👍
@@pashonexploring Hi Again, Coachman Hand over Went very well on August 5th, Very Pleased with it, Had A Great 9 Days in Ilfracombe, No problems Apart from Shower Had To Be 're calibrated and mover adjust.. Good Old Highbridge caravans 👍👍
@@ronaldyardley8965 Hi Ronald, glad to hear you got your new caravan and all going well, many happy holidays to come 😀 we have been out a few times this year, the aircon was a life saver on our last trip to Blackshaw Moor, Near Leek.
After so many years enjoying the comfort of a fixed bed, we wouldn't want to have to make bed up every night. That is a lovely 'van by the way! We too recently bought a Coachman560 VIP...no more sodding about with the tail lights like we had to go through with our previous Swift.
We have this van for three of us. We sleep on the two front seats as singles. It’s very nice but we ordered blind having seen the previous modal. Should have kept the dinette smaller for bigger floor space. We had e&p on order but not aircon. Think we might regret that
Let me tell you about PDI. Dealerships are paid for doing these, but they can increase their income by doing warranty work. So PDI is skimped a bit. Now warranty work will be done but unfortunately back and forth back to dealership is a cost to the customer. It’s frustrating. This is common through all types of dealerships.
Hi Paul, I really enjoyed the review. I would be very interested in hearing your thoughts and review of the car/Discovery and it’s towing capabilities.
Just found your channel. We ordered a coachman laser 620 back in March 2022!! Due date mid January 2023. Such a long delivery date!! Tbh we are both now retired and looking forward to our adventures in the 620. Such a wonderful caravan and sorry you had a pdi inspection failure! I'll certainly be asking questions based on your video. Tc both
Hi ya, you will definitely enjoy your time away in your new van, we love it. Hope your pdi inspection goes well....let us know how you get on with your new 620. Regards to you both.
Well, we picked our van up on 1st Feb. So so many snags to rectify. PDI to handover was abysmal. Honestly, your fuse for solar and wi fi is nothing to what we have just experienced. Omg had most extras fitted same has you but I even had to bleed heating system. So disappointed with coachman and dealer 😕
@@treesurgeon8558 Oh no ! sorry to hear its not gone well for you with your new van. Its beyond me why Coachman and some dealers cant get it 'right first time'. We worked through our issues and are now enjoying our van, its just had its first service with no issues reported, needless to say I didn't take it back to the dealer but used a local accredited mobile engineer, I wish you good luck with yours and would be interested to know how it goes.
I know i'am a bit late to the videos, but got hooked on your 5 part trip to france which we are doing in june for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed them but would just like to ask which site you are on here as we have 4 dogs and do find it a struggle to find sites to take so many. hope you are enjoying your van, we have a 2023 Elddis 860 twin axle which i love too.
Hi, In this video we were at Deer's Glade in Norfolk. We still have 4 dogs however our black lab has now passed and we now have Beau a small cockerpoo who thinks she as big as the other 3. We cant always take them all as, like you mentioned, some sites have limits, although the caravan club doesn't usually put a limit on it as long as they are well behaved, enjoy you new van. Paul & Sharon.
Hi Paul very informative video been a gentleman that’s reaching the age of ease I have often considered a self levelling system and it appears you,are reaping the reward of investing in a system ?
Hi, thanks for the comment. From memory it was £3,400 which is the price advertised by E&P, I think they set the price regardless of who fits it. The plates fitted to the underfloor were extra as it was recommended by our installer and not an E&P option, Best regards.
Thanks, we've had both the cages for a while now and both came from eBay but unfortunately cant remember what we paid for them, don't think they were expensive though.
Totally agree with you about Granthams. When i picked up my basecamp the bed slats were broken fridge vents broken solar panel not working. They then said when I pointed out these faults that i would have to wait until they had a slot to book it in. I will never buy from Granthams again bloody useless!!!!!
Nice caravan...twin axel is the safest way to travel..lose one tire and it still stable and there better when towing at speed...as for the dealership, what a bunch of twats!!.💕🇬🇧
Great set up. We have a 2015 620 and love it. We also take our 4 flatcoats, all picking up dogs. Love seeing contented, trained dogs.
Thank you. Absolutely agree, everyone comments on how well behaved our girls are, they are also working dogs. Happy travelling.

What a gorgeous caravan. Perfectly matches the awning too. All looks very premium.

I have to agree with you about that bit of floor space, I'm constantly knocking into the end cushions, other than that love our 620.
Jockey wheel appears to be hovering above the ground?
If so, I wouldn't put weight directly on the corner steadies.

You're right a twin axle is much more stable on the road, ref the dealer - I've not been back for servicing as wouldn't trust them, cheers.
