What happened is they had to get multiple jobs to survive, and the retired had to join the workforce again just to afford basic needs.

Over 50 years as a politician, making millions off the people instead of working for us, conning people to vote for him and taking advantage of his voters that are not well educated in politics, he was caught lying about how high he ranked in college, defended his drug addicted son, showered with his granddaughter, multiple racist remarks throughout his lifetime, but he sacrificed himself for the good of the economy and our future by shutting down oil drilling, causing high energy costs, raising inflation to an all time high since the 80s, allowed hundreds of thousands of dangerous illegals across our border, got 13 servicemembers killed and left billions of dollars worth of military equipment behind during the withdrawal of Afghanistan, sending billions of american taxpayers dollars over to Ukraine instead of america first, getting us into multiple proxy wars all under 4 years, destroyed hundreds of thousands of American jobs as well as many small businesses, the list goes on. But hey he sacrificed.....
That’s polite and all but it’s not the truth.
The reality is that he was forced out by big donors and vulnerable candidates down ballot from his own party. Just a few days ago he was saying the exact opposite message and refusing to drop out of the race. This is him trying to salvage some dignity while unfortunately once again refusing to admit that time has sadly taken its toll and he’s gotten too old to give full attention for another 4 years.
We’re all human, we’re all mortal. There is no shame in getting old. I’d have a lot more respect for politicians if they just told it like it actually is.
Next week, when he realizes that he spoke to drop out of the race, he’s going to be upset.
