    Awesome set up, I also like that he provides a lot of room for them. great water set up as well. I especially like that he doesn't show his face some people like the attention and use it as a chance to become somebody. A plus set up.👍👍

    one of the most professional and well organised set ups ive seen. I really envy the space you have. That aviary is as big as my whole garden.

    How wonderful! What a great video and I love your aviaries. I have 2 pairs, and as I live in Hong Kong, we are changing to cold weather now. Hopefully my birds will breed next season. Looking forward to more videos from you. Can I buy Chick Weed grass seeds?

    • @birdmandad6426
      @birdmandad6426  2 года назад +1

      Chick weed is seen as a weed here in Australia ...not sure if you can buy them as a seed sorry...it's scientific name is Stellaria media...maybe you can ask some seed merchants in Hong Kong

    Hi birdman, what is your daily and weekly nutrition?

    • @birdmandad6426
      @birdmandad6426  2 года назад

      Every morning all our birds get a breakfast of sprouted seeds... there is a you tube on this chanel showing this...into the sprouted seed goes seasonal vegetables..bok choy or Asian greens are always in there... for afternoon tea they get green seeding grasses. They always have seed available. We give them a blended finch mix of millets, pannicums and canary seeds... also they always have grit available..currently using Fit Grit from naturally birds.

    Is it good idea to keep Gouldians in colony or separately in individual cages ?

    • @birdmandad6426
      @birdmandad6426  3 года назад

      We have them in individual breeding pairs but mostly because we do not want to line breed that is parents breeding with offspring plus to know colors

    Why the moth balls hanging on the perches ?

    • @birdmandad6426
      @birdmandad6426  2 года назад

      A very long time ago an old Gouldian breeder told me that original/ real camphor helped keep air sac mite away…mites in general… so I have hung them in any Gouldian aviaries since… mind you real camphor gets harder to find every year.
