Thank you very much for the clear tutorial... worked perfectly for me after flashing the bluetooth dashboard. Though I could not flash the control board but that is not the issue causing my wheel to rattle when it turns, I found out that one of the hall sensor wire connecting to the motor is broken, so join them back and its working perfectly now.
Hello to everyone. I have an ES4. I have never hacked anything. With the last update from Segway, which i think it was released about 3 weeks ago, my scooter now goes up to 32km easily. Also it used to suddenly brake when i was going downhill in order to not pass 32km (which was a bit dangerous) but that braking is also gone. Yesterday for example I went 40km downhill.

Great video. I bought mine already modified and with external battery and I was having a blast with and has been a blessing to avoid using public transportation. Now, after less than 800kms and six months later, in Sport mode, everytime after a couple hundred meters after begining my daily use I'm having massive torque loss!! It takes forever to reach 30km/h and before was a metter of seconds... small uphills that was possible to make at 20kms/h now it's climbing at 8 / 9kms /h :(... What do you thing it could be and how to fix it, since I haven't found any solution in the internet? TY

This is a great guide and worked perfect but I have 1 problem. Everything works perfect on the ES 2 scooter (the one with just the 1 internal battery) but when I do it with an ES4(has the additional external battery), I can't get the batteries to charge past 75%. Do you have any advice? Thank you for this info
@@BananaScience @BananaScience Yes, everything works perfect and 100% charge on the ES2's but my es4's will only charge to about 78%. If I take the external battery off I can charge the internal one to 100%. If I have both the internal and external battery installed, I can only get to like 78%. I checked voltage and I don't remember exactly off hand but 78% was not a display error. The voltage was lower than the ES2's showing 100%. I have swapped both internal and external batteries with my other scooters with the same results. I am thinking it's a BMS version problem. My batteries have mismatched versions but I don't know how to change them individually. I don't know if it matters but I also don't have windows 10 for the serial number change. Thank you again for your work
Yeah it could be a BMS version issue. You can update the BMS firmware through the ninebot mobile app and then re-flash your hacked firmware afterwards.
@@BananaScience Excellent, I will try when I get home. I was scared to install what Ninebot called the "master software" version 1.4.1. I didn't know if I could go back to hacked software after I updated or not. Also, do your LED's on the bottom work after the hack flashed install? One of my Es4 work but the other does not. I have researched and from what others say, it has to do with the serial number.
Antassium it’s likely because the new BIRD ESCs use proprietary firmware that needs to be reflashed. Check out the scooter hacking forums for instructions on that.
Hi I have a doubt with the ESC (electronic speed control) is not the same dashboard? It is the motherboard that is where the battery is connected. I have a scooter of that tutorial reference but it does not turn on, nothing appears on the screen if I turn off the taillights, turn on the screen but not the speedometer. I think it is a type of blocking my concern is that I bought the dashboard and it doesn't work. I lose my money. What advise me please
Is it an ex rental scooter? The two electrical components people confuse a lot are the dashboard and the control board (AKA ESC). If you have an ex rental scooter you will likely have to flash the control board as well as the dash to get it to work.
Just got a used es4. I can’t update the app and I can’t change the speed mode. Any ideas on how to fix this? I’m new to this so please describe sad best as possible. I also only own a Mac and iPhone. Thank you kindly!
You will need to change the serial number on your ESC. This can be done through the Ninebot Flasher app but is only possible with a PC I believe. We offer serial number changing services on our website bananascience.net though it would be a huge pain for you to have to ship your esc to us for such a small issue.
Hello, I got a jump scooter from the impound, the esc has a green light blinking. Do you think I need to replace that esc as well the dashboard. Or I can just flash the dashboard that comes with it? Or maybe I need to get replacement one from amazon for both of them. Thank you
I can get up to the point where I try to Telnet in via the command line, but thats not working. Any way to figure out if/what address I might use instead of the one you provided?
@@BananaScience Yes, telnet is enabled on my PC. Reading through more threads, I am using some knock off dashboard without a capacitor on c15 that others seem to be having an issue with.
My apologies, everything worked fine. I needed to actually be running two CMD windows to do this. I was running the long code, cancelling it like a dummy with Cntrl C and then trying to telnet. Run long code, then open another CMD window and telnet, got it! Working fine, but getting an error 49 and some weird behavior on my working scoot. Getting error 10s on the others.
I have a custom dual motor ninebot es4 with two 48volt 1000watt ebike ESC's and a 13s10p 25ah battery I made that I'm going to upgrade to 14s soon, everything is mounted a bit half-assed right now as I don't have any tools to make metal mounts but it goes 25mph right now and has a lot of power and will go even faster with 14s so it's just the ninebots ESC that limits the speed as more voltage makes the motor spin faster.
@@BananaScience not running with two motors it doesn't, adding a second motor makes it so much faster and since it has more torque it's able to stay at 25mph on flat ground without getting hot, if I'm going full throttle uphill in the grass it gets pretty hot though but only after a few minutes. When I first built it I was running with one motor and after driving it around my neighborhood full throttle the motor hurt to touch. I also haven't had any problems with motor wires melting or the bullet connectors which I'm still using. I plan on making a video on it but I'm kinda embarrassed how it looks right now and it would be filmed on my potato phone.
@@BananaScience I have everything mounted on the floor at the front of the scooter with hose clamps and rope (it looks terrible and like a bomb), the back is extended to fit the rear motor so I still have plenty of room. When I'm able to make a metal bracket/ housing in a few months the ESC's and wiring will all be sealed up in a metal box bolted to the floor of the scooter. The battery will be covered in some type of plastic wrap and will be able to attach and lay flat on top of the case for the ESC's and will be easily removable, I'll add a small fan and air holes to the ESC's housing so it doesn't burn up but I want it water resistant as possible too, and I'll also add some foam padding to protect the battery from bumps.
I'll also be adding a bike break to the rear motor, the metal edge of the hub will be used to stop it and I'll be replacing the foot break fender (I had to take off since its extended) for additional breaking if I need it, although the foot break will wear out my tire.
I am trying to connect to my dashboard using ninebot flasher, and it shows up on the list of bluetooth items as connectable. I connect to it, but all the buttons are greyed out and not usable. Why this and how can I fix?
Friend, I tried to flash my ES4 and now I turn it on, the screen immediately turns off and it begins to sound “beep beep beep” many times and I cannot accelerate, connect by bluethoot, or anything, how can I solve it? thanks
@@mrdwil777 Yes that is normal. CFW only guarantees stable speeds up to 20mph at the moment and anything above that will have that strange acceleration and declaration issue.
i have an snsc bird. i replaced the tracker box with a dashboard. i have not flashed it yet but upon connecting the dashboard i get error 10. will flashing the original firmware fix this?
Not sure if stock firmware will fix it but it's worth a shot. It it doesn't work check out this forum discussion: www.scooterhacking.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=40
Hi there, I have recently acquired a couple of impounded scooters from a wrecker and they are lyft branded. The main cable from the esc has 5 pin connection going up to the dash as the replacement ones only have 4 pins. Would this make a difference?
Yes. You need to find out which of the five pins has battery voltage (use a multi meter to find 42v) and then just purchase a replacement 4 pin connector and ignore that high voltage pin when you wire in the replacement cable to your ESC.
@@BananaScience Ok, thank you so much for the information! Is the 42v there to power the dash that came with it? if i do ignore that would it still have the sufficient connections to power the replacement dash?
@@Kchecksitout I'm not sure the exact purpose of the 42v wire (could be for power or for monitoring battery voltage but if you remove it, the ESC will work like normal.
@@BananaScience Hey brother, I successfully flashed a dash using your method and rewired the 5 pin into a 4 pin and moved it to the standard location on the esc. I am now getting an eror 10. Doing research it seems the esc FW is not matched to the dash. Would you happen to have a tutorial for flashing the esc control board? Literally none around so you may be the first to do a tutorial! =) Thanks again! With each conversation i have with you comes 1 step closer to scooting!
From my research, I wasn’t able to change my serial number via Bluetooth, I think it requires the st-link to disable that, if the 4th digit in the Serial is an R, then it is stuck in rental mode with only 1 speed setting. However in curious if it will work via Bluetooth if you remove the c15 Bluetooth refresher chip
Hello want to ask you, can i do it with mac pc or only windows. And another question. The usb key you have, its a special one or can i buy it everyplace?
You can buy the ST Linker USB device from the link in the description below. You can use mac to do the ST Link flashing (terminal code is a bit different so make sure to check the website where I copy the commands from for the mac version) but you will need to use an android or windows to upload the stock firmware. You could boot into windows on a mac using boot camp though which should probably work.
Excellent video. I have installed the external battery on my ES2 and the speed on standard mode got a kick from 20 kph to 27 kph and the sports mode from 25 kph to 32 kph. This is way to fast for me. I basically just wanted the extra range and not the speed. The gap between limited mode and standard mode is a wopping 12 kph. Would it be possible to flash the firmware using a higher Moter power constant. Would that lower the speed for standard and sport mode? Will it influence the limitation mode where max is 15 kph at the current setup?
To lower the max speed, change the top speed number in the CFW generator. Lowering the motor power constant will lower acceleration and torque but not top speed. I’m not sure if lowering the top speed affects non sport mode though. Let me know if you find out!
can I do this with the dashboard on the jump scooters? Also how would I get stock firmware on the ESC of the bird scooters. I heard that they now have custom firmware
Darren Greene-Wynter this will work with any ex rental scooter that utilizes Ninebot ES/SNSC hardware (note some things may need to be replaced) Yes, the new BIRD scooters are using proprietary firmware on their ESCs but it can be removed via flashing stock firmware using the ST Link. Please refer to the scooter hacking forums for more details on that. (See ninebot section about error 10) This does involve completely dismantling your powertrain, however, and if you just don’t want to have to go through the hassle of flashing the ESC you can just buy a new one online (note you still will need to dismantle your entire powertrain to install the new one)

Hello, I am wondering if this works on the latest firmware version of today (July 17th 2019) ? I am not 100% comfortable in trying this; If I don't like the custom firmware, can I easily restore factory settings again? Or is the scooter permanently 'hacked' ? Thank you
I believe the newest version of CFW is still experimental so I would stick with stable releases. If you don't like the CFW, you can always just connect to your scooter on the ninebot app and flash OFW again.
my wheel is locked and does not stop beeping, the screen does not turn on and it is new, when I connect to the application I get error 32, will this work?
@@BananaScience I have managed to make it work, thank you very much, sometimes I get error 42 for the external battery, do you think it's because of this programming?

Could you ever do this without soldering? If I buy an oem dashboard, it will have the original ninebot software so I could just install the hacked software?
Yes if you buy an OEM dash but even some that claim to be OEM aren't OEM. (plus it will cost quite a bit more). You can do this without soldering if you have a friend hold two multi meter probes in place and stick the other two power probes into the red and black wires going from the throttle or brake connector.
@redwan TANGER so what I did is I bought a CLONE dash to replace the gps block for my es2 and it for the past 40 miles has worked fantastically. If you want to switch modes from sport you have to buy an OEM control board
so I just had a new Controler (ESC) and a new Bluetooth dashboard delivered from eBay. Do I need to do any programing to any of those two pieces just to operate at regular speed?
Hi, I did exactly all procedure as video and after program command using full_BLE.bin, the console sent an error "couldn't open full_BLE.bin" and **programing failed**...... > program full_BLE.bin target halted due to debug-request, current mode: Thread xPSR: 0xc1000000 pc: 0xfffffffe msp: 0xfffffffc ** Programming Started ** auto erase enabled couldn't open full_BLE.bin embedded:startup.tcl:476: Error: ** Programming Failed ** in procedure 'program' in procedure 'program_error' called at file "embedded:startup.tcl", line 532 at file "embedded:startup.tcl", line 476 Could you help me ??....Now when I connect dashboard to ES2 it don't do nothing, only brake lights blinking .

I cant find info on this any where any help would be appreciated it just beeps and only goes about 3 or 4 mph max. I have spent over £100 and waited over a month and it is still a piece of junk. any recommendation on a better scooter also I am fed up trying to fix this thing with no help from suppliers.
Assuming you attained the scooter by legal means, you will first need to determine whether your scooter has the tracker board mounted on a front facing pod or on a box on the handle bars. If it is in a front facing pod, you will need to buy a replacement electronic speed controller (ESC) and remove the tracker board as well as flash original firmware to the upper dashboard. If it just has a tracker box on top, you will need to remove the tracker and purchase a replacement dashboard. Let me know if you would likes links to purchase either the ESC or replacement dashboard.
Gabriel Gabrielsson join the Scooter Hacking wiki, forum, and discord from the links in the description. Also read through the comments on this video as I think many of them will answer your questions.
Hello , thanks for the tutorial , I was wondering if this is still possible on a dashboard that’s display doesn’t work, the scooter works normally , only the display is not showing , you can only see it all turn on when you turn the scooter , kinda like with a car when you turn the ignition on and the dashboard lights all light up at the same time for a moment
Yup. you probably have a Spin dashboard which doesn't turn on because of a custom firmware they install on it. Not only will flashing custom firmware allow you to use a higher top speed, it will also make your dashboard light up and work normally.

I just got an ES4. And I'm the type to modify things. Is this truly safe? and even with todays up to date firmware I can technically just flash? I'll look into it more.
Say i remember hearing somewhere that the stlink is no longer needed, a new update eliminated the use for it. Is this true or will I still need the st link?
I flashed the stock firmware onto my dash I got off amazon because it wasn’t working with the rental scooter I got but now it just flashes the red wrench signal. Help?
Eli Johnson what is the error code? If it’s error 10 you will need to flash OFW onto your ESC using an ST Link. Check the forums linked in the description for more details.
BananaScience well the dashboard I have for some reason isn’t able to connect to the app. The app recognizes there is a scooter but when it try’s to connect it said connecting fail please try again. I was hoping flashing the dashboard would make it work but it still doesn’t. I am going to try to flash the control board later today with the st link. Should I just do the same thing I did to the control board as I did to the dashboard?
@@elijohnson1832 Sometimes the BLE is a little flaky so you need to try to connect a couple of times before it works. The process for flashing the ESC is completely different so I would check out the forums for details on that. We hope to release a video on how to flash the ESC within the next month or so.
BananaScience okay thanks so much for your help. That video would be greatly appreciated! I did find a few steps for flashing the esc so I hope I’m able to follow all them because I’m not to familiar with STUtility(which is what the steps say to use).
BananaScience I also heard something about birds new firmware bricking the esc when it doesn’t recognize the bird dashboard. Is this true or have you heard anything about this?
Hey bud , have seen a french tutorial where he just uses the ES_downG to flash the firmware bin from the custom firmware without going through the first stage of soldering in and wiping the OEM . I've tried it that way but no results that I can get anyway regardless of his comments from people claiming otherwise ,so I guess what I'm asking is there anyway of flashing custom firmware without the soldering in or is this the only way? By your knowledge I'm leaning towards your way. Thanks in advance. Great tutorial.
Nope. The soldering method isn't just a less efficient way to get the same thing done. As we describe in the video, you need to use the ST link to flash OFW before flashing CFW over bluetooth.
I purchased a refurbished es3 from Newegg. I road it a couple times and now I’m getting an error “A phase sampling”. Not sure if it needs a new main board. I can’t find any help on the net. Can someone point me In the right direction? Thanks

I bought one that was supposedly “new” works ok, but I can’t get it to connect via Bluetooth therefor I have additional feature/mode control. Rather then passing on my problem to someone else by selling it, thought I’d see if flashing the firmware would fix it. Any guidance is appreciated.

Hey, i live in small town near Paris and sometimes rentals just get thrown here somehow, I don't neven understand how because it's actually pretty far from paris, it's like 45 min by car. But yeah they just end up in the town landfill or like a flash one, in my yard, because someone thought throwing one in my yard was fun or smth i guess. So i decided to poke around in it to see, since i'm not driving 45 min to put it back into paris, and at first i wanted to totally change the esc and dash for non ninebots one. But then learned that you might be able to just flash a voi to unlock it. So if i follow your instructions do you think it would work? Or would i have to buy a new dash for some reasons? I mean i already ordered the thing to flash cause it's still a fun project on the side to see if i can make it work haha.
Ah yes, also, do you know ways to get good deals on ninebots? I'd like to buy one and I thought about buying a broken one and repairing it. Do you think it's a stupid idea or are there better ways to save a bit on the price?
Nichatte you’ll still likely have to replace the ESC as well as flash the dash. Check out the forums in the links provided for more info on that. Regarding scooter sales, you can sometimes find a local auto auction that sells them by the lots of 10 as they were illegally parked then impounded. Other than that you can buy cheap parts online but they are likely stolen.

Christoper TV at the start of the video I demonstrate the final result of it going 20mph. As far as I know, this only will allow you to go 20mph TOP as the majority of ninebot ES scooters are flashed with stock firmware that limits you at 16. I do think it would be worth a try though to do it on your scooter as you might be able to achieve a higher top speed but I don’t know for sure.

hello i have a ninebot es4
I wanted to increase the speed,And I uploaded the wrong zipp Then uploaded but No longer shuts down and writes error 10
Who can help me?
Hi I would like to know if this will fix an error 42 and also make my scooter pick up Bluetooth? It was used rental unit.
Mine was rental too, waiting for an answer
Great video.
I bought mine already modified and with external battery and I was having a blast with and has been a blessing to avoid using public transportation.
Now, after less than 800kms and six months later, in Sport mode, everytime after a couple hundred meters after begining my daily use I'm having massive torque loss!! It takes forever to reach 30km/h and before was a metter of seconds... small uphills that was possible to make at 20kms/h now it's climbing at 8 / 9kms /h :(...
What do you thing it could be and how to fix it, since I haven't found any solution in the internet?

Have you ever had a problem with the control boards? Mine appears to have broken by itself on my ES3. Do you have a tutorial on how to fix this?
This is a great guide and worked perfect but I have 1 problem. Everything works perfect on the ES 2 scooter (the one with just the 1 internal battery) but when I do it with an ES4(has the additional external battery), I can't get the batteries to charge past 75%. Do you have any advice? Thank you for this info
To confirm, this is after you have flashed the hacked firmware? Is the range affected (only 75% of the range?).
yes
I love your work!!
i am getting error 10 with a a red wrench flashing on and off. do you know how to fix this?
Is this after flashing custom or stock firmware?
I got this error when connecting to a newer model without flashing. I'll be trying the firmware update when my ST-Link comes in.
Antassium it’s likely because the new BIRD ESCs use proprietary firmware that needs to be reflashed. Check out the scooter hacking forums for instructions on that.
@@BananaScience what if you thought you already flashed it? did the flash just not go through correctly?
Giacomo Ciminello What do you mean? Could you please elaborate a little more? Did you already flash the dash or ESC?
Works fine! Thanks
Heyy, links for Stock/OEM Dashboard Firmware are down :cc Ty !
Hello, I got a jump scooter from the impound, the esc has a green light blinking. Do you think I need to replace that esc as well the dashboard. Or I can just flash the dashboard that comes with it? Or maybe I need to get replacement one from amazon for both of them. Thank you
yea replace the control board and flash the dash then it shouldwork
Yonas mesikir yup!
Hi, thanks for a great video. I just purchased a Ninebot Max, do you have a tutorial on how to remove the speed limiter on that model?
We unfortunately don't but there's a section for that in the discord channel if you've got any questions.
It would void the warranty right?
Miguel Baltazar yes
BananaScience what’s the discord?
Hey man! Did you purchase a new speed controller or are you using the voi speed controller?
The one we happen to use in this video was an ex Bird speed controller.
I can get up to the point where I try to Telnet in via the command line, but thats not working. Any way to figure out if/what address I might use instead of the one you provided?
Eli Whipple can you confirm you’ve enabled telnet on your PC?
@@BananaScience Yes, telnet is enabled on my PC. Reading through more threads, I am using some knock off dashboard without a capacitor on c15 that others seem to be having an issue with.
My apologies, everything worked fine. I needed to actually be running two CMD windows to do this. I was running the long code, cancelling it like a dummy with Cntrl C and then trying to telnet. Run long code, then open another CMD window and telnet, got it! Working fine, but getting an error 49 and some weird behavior on my working scoot. Getting error 10s on the others.
@@eliwhipple1854 Error 10 means you either need to replace or flash your ESC but I'm not sure what error 49 means.
hmm... EU version goes up to 30km/h by default... Does the motor get any more torque by flasing? what is the max speed you get out of it?
You can get improved torque and speed. The newest CFW updates limit you to 22mph while older versions went up to 24.
@@BananaScience ahahahaha... awesome (the part of me not updating it :D)
That sounds awesome! You don't have any issues with motor heat?
@@mashedpotatoes5323 That's pretty sweet. Where do you mount the ESCs?
Hmmm... Never heard of this issue before. Does your dashboard have the bluetooth light solidly on? Might be worth asking around in the Discord.
Friend, I tried to flash my ES4 and now I turn it on, the screen immediately turns off and it begins to sound “beep beep beep” many times and I cannot accelerate, connect by bluethoot, or anything, how can I solve it? thanks
When I go to put the hacked firmware into the Ninebot-flasher app using your steps it says my file is ‘bad’ any advice?
Use a earlier version of firmware. I think the latest version Ninebot Flasher accepts is 1.3.9. If it's any other version, it will throw an error.
BananaScience Have you heard of when the ES4 gets to 22 mph it quickly applies breaking and goes to 19mph and then cycles doing this?
@@BananaScience awesome! Thank you so much! I will definitely give it a try!
Will you ever make a tutorial how to flash using the android app and bluetooth?
Likely not as the process is almost identical to this one except you need to just transfer the CFW file to your phone instead.

BananaScience thanks!
so you cant set any lower MPC on a ES1 with External battery ? or am I misunderstanding the spreadsheet

I cant find info on this any where any help would be appreciated it just beeps and only goes about 3 or 4 mph max. I have spent over £100 and waited over a month and it is still a piece of junk. any recommendation on a better scooter also I am fed up trying to fix this thing with no help from suppliers.
hello I found a VOI ninebote rental, what is the best way to use it, what do you recommend?
Assuming you attained the scooter by legal means, you will first need to determine whether your scooter has the tracker board mounted on a front facing pod or on a box on the handle bars. If it is in a front facing pod, you will need to buy a replacement electronic speed controller (ESC) and remove the tracker board as well as flash original firmware to the upper dashboard. If it just has a tracker box on top, you will need to remove the tracker and purchase a replacement dashboard. Let me know if you would likes links to purchase either the ESC or replacement dashboard.

So if you want the original firmware then you have to disassemble it and if you want a custom one you just use ble?
You need to flash OFW before you flash CFW. So if you want CFW you have to flash OFW first unless your scooter is not an ex-rental scooter.

I did this a while back but I recently had to get a new control board for the scooter. Now it’s back to normal and isn’t as quick. Do you know why?
You likely purchased a clone control board. You will need to purchase an OEM control board for the CFW to affect your speed.
BananaScience okay thanks so much for your help. That video would be greatly appreciated! I did find a few steps for flashing the esc so I hope I’m able to follow all them because I’m not to familiar with STUtility(which is what the steps say to use).

Hey bud , have seen a french tutorial where he just uses the ES_downG to flash the firmware bin from the custom firmware without going through the first stage of soldering in and wiping the OEM . By your knowledge I'm leaning towards your way. Thanks in advance. Great tutorial.

Cool! Does this work for yosemite e scooter as well? Model EH600. Would greatly appreciate a reply :)
If i have NEVER tampered with anything, it is newly bought, can i just go straight to 13:40 ? Thanks.
Yup!
So you can actually do all of this over bluetooth on your phone without modifying the scooters hardware at all.
So if you have one of the non ninebot ones do you need to buy a new esc and a dashboard ?
My dashboard looks like the ninebot one.
@@Felisargyle Does it have a tracker pod mounted on the front or a tracker box on the handle bars? If it has a front tracker pod you will need a new ESC and to flash the pre-existing dash. If it has a tracker box you will need a new dash which you will then need to flash.
BananaScience it has nothing. So I’m set right?
@@Felisargyle Yup you shouldn't have to do anything then.
Friend I have been working with the St-Link V2 but lately when I connect to the STM32 ST-LINK Utility I get an error like this:
18:42:50 : Can not connect to target!
If you're trying to connect to an STM32W1xx device, please select Normal or HotPlug mode from Target->Settings menu.
If you're trying to connect to a low frequency application , please select a lower SWD Frequency mode from Target->Settings menu.
18:42:51 : No target connected
Know what is causing this problem, so far I can not solve it and I have updated drivers
:C
I did the procedure however when I play the telnet command 127.0.0.1 4444 it says that it is not known as an internal command ... what can it be?
Leonardo Vitor did you enable telnet?
Banana science how do you enable telnet please let me know soon as possible

@@BananaScience Thanks a lot, i'll work on it this week end, i found out that i could buy some from the trash place, if i manage to make the one i have work i might pull the trigger on them :)
Also i read that you were working on a video about converting non foldable scooters to foldable, i'm looking forward for it and i thank you for your work!
I also joined the discord to be able to read further informations, i think that i read most important threads on the forums.
Nichatte nice! Let me know if you have any questions. We are also working on a modular external battery so you can hot swap batteries in 10 seconds. We plan to do a 300 mile road trip with these this summer.
@@BananaScience 300 miles?!! That's like 1 billion kilometers !
I could go traverse my whole country from right to left with 300 miles :o
Well you can be sure i'll follow your work, and maybe if i can become good enough contribute to it !
Good video, this works on es1?
Hi so I’m having a problem where my battery BMS isn’t updating from the app. Will this fix it thanks
This sadly won't fix that issue. What error does it give you?
BananaScience I’m not totally sure but when I look in the app it says battery management system is out to date and it beeps a lot
Macadoo Vlogs what happens when you click update?
BananaScience it sits there with the update and then just says update failed
NICE tutorial sir ..........thank you so much
Great video! Can you do one for the M365?
ok, can you please clear this up to me i'm totally confuse. will this boost up the scooter more than 20mph (32kmh) or does this method says that it will just reach the 20mph(32kmh)?
because i got the backup battery with my es4 alreaady and i can go 20mph(32kmh) already. so what;s the point in doing this method if i cant pass that 20mph.
what i want to pin point is. i want to hack the scooter so i could go faster than 20mph. so answer this quesstion.
if i do this method. will it run more than 20mph or not? will it go above that speed? cuz when you're done with the video you did not show us that you've gained speed. you jusst went out then that's it.
