But then we get to the end without even mentioning CS, and I gotta wonder what happened there. I mean, love him or hate him, the guy is a machine. Yeah, I get it: he's like the non-enthusiast's idea of an enthusiast, and a good part of the community isn't crazy about the guy, but he gets eyeballs. And his content is of pretty good quality; that's an objective fact.

theme park crazy, coaster studios, and airtime thrills are the ones that started it for me. I loved theme park crazy the most as a gp because his content can be enjoyed by a wider audience while still being good as a thoosie now. I also loved his povs for the screaming which is something I like to do as a reference to him today. Then airtime thrills was the only rollercoaster channel i watched through covid and if it wasnt for him I don't think I would have lasted through covid. Then coaster studios was just a bit of both and kept my intresting going but not to the same degree of the other channels. (your also on this list dw im just explaning the other ones)

Great list! I hadn't heard of Northern Rides before, so I will have to check them out. Theme Seekers and Review Tyme are two channels that I've recently discovered and been watching all of their content.
Review Tyme is a fantastic pick. Their channel along with Poseidon Entertainment is great but one I felt wasn’t quite as “roller coaster focused” so I didn’t end up adding them.

Nice list. Canobie Coaster and Theme Park Crazy are very good and very informative. And who doesn't love Peter's strained food analogies? One that is sort of defunct but was really top notch when he was still making content was CanadaCoasterFan. Ryan's format was very simple. Like showing a still frame of a coaster and then overlaying it with commentary levels of simple. But his commentary was first rate.
Love this list and I can certainly vouch for those I’ve collaborated with (Grant from Hersheypark Enthusiast, Nick from Cedar Flags, Chris from Airtime Thrills, Marc from CoasterDash, Mike from Canobie Coaster, Peter from Theme Park Crazy). All of them were great to work with and they seem like fantastic people. I also enjoy Northern Rides and his video/editing style and Park Pros is an excellent channel that I think is the best in the YT Shorts game (One of the few channels I’ll actually watch Shorts from). Happy to see them get some recognition. Admittedly M-NL-2 Contriver and Station Wait were a bit surprising to see on the list for me. I’m subscribed to and familiar with both channels so perhaps I need to check out more of their content. I will say that for Station Wait I did really enjoy his Jeopardy livestreams with guests. I’ve seen a lot of chatter in the comments about you excluding CS but honestly if I were to remake my top 10 that channel would not make the list. Excellent footage but there are far better channels for reviews, vlogs, analysis, etc. I hardly ever watch their content nowadays.

I agree with your thoughts on the Park Pros shorts and I definitely think M-NL2's shorts and Station Wait's videos are worth checking out. I feel Canobie Coaster has earned a Doctorates degree🎓 in amusement parks, rides and coaster knowledge. His very detailed and honest reviews outshine the others, not that they're bad but it's like Michael Jordan against the Harlem Globetrotters😅
ryan’s vlogs are by far the best in the community, and his problematic coasters and his reviews are also amazing taylor is also a great youtuber overall and prolly the king of the community, dude just hit 1K credits
I don’t love Coaster Idiots, but I understand that. Taylor was a pioneer of the community no doubt, but not as much anymore. That’s fine as RUclips fans and success doesn’t always last.

You watch way more than me! I watch coastoons, airtime thrills, and el toro ryan a lot. Not many others, sometimes (you) theme park crazy, and cedar flags.

Personally, my favorite was/is OkayCoasters....but he uploads so infrequently...but when he does its absolute banger of a video. Also what Bryant has done with Coaster365 is incredible with how short of a time he's actually been om youtube content how long hes been doing it on Instagram

Interesting list, (thanks for sharing some smaller channels to support!) Personally, I'm fond of Coaster Studios, (Taylor, and now Sarah) because without him I would have never gotten over my fear of roller coasters as a kid. I started watching him when he first started (i was maybe 9 at that point), and now he's making full-blown documentaries! I also can't get enough of El Toro Ryan, and Airtime Thrills.

(a massive quality improvement, but also loss of some of the jokes/coaster parodies). been watching channels centered around my home park recently (Hersheypark Enthusiast) becuase I can actually compare my own experiences on the rides with their opinions, (unlike the big channels going to Europe, asia and west coast). Anyways keep up the great content!
My favourite channels would be Canobie Coaster and Coaster Studios. Taylor has improved over 10 years of running his channel, to the extent that the footage he shoots is hands down the best in the community. I've only been watching him for little over a year (even before I became an enthusiast) and he's the reason I'm here today commenting on this video. I had the incredible opportunity to meet Taylor and Sarah at a park once (and even got a mention in a vlog) which was really special. Mike from Canobie Coaster may not have the eye popping visuals that Coaster Studios has but he excels in in depth reviews that really explore the coaster that's being talked about. An example is Steel Vengeance. Despite the complexity of the ride, Mike deconstructed every sensation and made the video truly memorable. He also takes the time to reply to all my comments and questions which I think is really cool as well. They're both my favourite channels and I can't wait to see what they do in the future.
I have actually unsubscribed to many different coaster channels all for different reasons and was just overloaded with too much. Being much older than most the enthusiasts, ive been riding coasters since 1987 and have been to most parks in the country, i was just getting tired of it. I have experienced most the coasters along with several now defunct coasters, so i know how they are and have my own opinions on them. Having lived and worked in FL for the past 21 years, i focus on mainly park content for the state of Florida, more specifically Sea World/BGT and Universal and Fun spots. I tend to watch some of the other channels more like Canobie Coaster, Themepark Worldwide, midway mayhem, Xscream Thrills, East Coasters, Amusementinsider, coasters and travels, I'm still subscribed to you, and others, but alot of the smaller channels. Sometimes those feel alot more genuine than the larger channels trying to do too much. Also, ad sponsorship during a video automatically turns me off from the channel. I pay to be a RUclips Red member so i never have to watch ads cut in during videos.

I love Theme Park Avenue, Airtime Thrills, ElToro Ryan, Theme Park Crazy, and many others. My personal favorite, which is actually one of my favorite RUclipsrs overall, is Coaster Studios.
Defunctland & Expedition Theme Park are my favorite documentary channels. Theme Park crazy is easily the best top list channel. El Toro Ryan is the best vlog style channel.
I sure have. He makes fantastic content, but he doesn't have enough of it for me to judge against most of the other channels. On a more objective scale he would be high up on the list.
would it be cheating to count Defunctland as one if so Canobie, Air Time Thrills, and Theme Park Crazy are my favorites and counting those who only do on/off ride povs then Sean Flaharty as well
Looping Thrills is underrated imo... he has a small channel but his content has really improved as of late... & Theme park predictions also has some really interesting content... How come they didn't make the list?
Both of those channels make prediction content that I consider to be clickbait, and they don’t have engaging content to back it up. It is fine if you like them, but I don’t really enjoy their style of videos.
Coaster Studios, ElToroRyan, Theme Park Crazy, In the Loop, Canobie Coaster, Zero Credits Remaining, and RampagingRexProductions Cedar Flags and CoasterFanatics are some of my favorites. Im kind of afraid to mention this but I also did watch a lot of OhioValleyCoasters. But sad what happened with them…
He doesn’t have a big enough catalog to be a channel I frequently visit or go back to. His production value is excellent though, and he would probably make the list based on objective metrics.

Digital Dan, it’s nice to have some UK based content and he recently rode a Volare 87 time to raise over £3000 for a mental health charity which is always fantastic. He does have awful taste in F1 teams though.
I hear Coaster Studios doesn't watch other tubers so they won't be upset ;) . Or notice. Or, certainly, making their own list like this. They've been pretty cool to me, for younguns, on several meetings, and the Coastin' Through series is a happy place to be.
Ah yes, it is true that they don’t watch other videos, particularly ones that talk about Coaster Studios. The channel was definitely an inspiration for me and I wouldn’t be Theme Park Avenue right now had his channel not been there when I started getting into coasters.

I know Coaster Studios didn’t make the list, but he’s one of the few (along with Canobie Coaster and Coaster Dash) who does international content and that’s what I’m most interested in.

@@ThemeParkAvenue ThemeParkWizard is less of an enthusiast channel and more of a Universal Studios Hollywood channel, but it is nice to watch him because he knows words like "Zero G Stall" and "Intamin " where all the other USH youtubers are very GP and us enthusiasts have to educate them lol

I had a similar progression where those three are what got me into roller coasters. Cool how influential those three were.

Theme Park Crazy is the channel that really started me down the rabbit hole of becoming a coaster enthusiast and theme/amusement park enthusiast.
TPC and Coaster Studios are the ones that did that for me.

Was very surprised to not see Coaster Studios on this list - however, he is viewed by some as one of the most controversial, if not THE most controversial, coaster enthusiast in the community. So in that aspect, I'm completely understand omitting him from this ranking.
Few of my favorites are Airtime Thrills, Canobie Coaster, Coastoons, ElToroRyan and CoasterDash
Those are all good picks.
You watch way more than me! I watch coastoons, airtime thrills, and el toro ryan a lot. Not many others, sometimes (you) theme park crazy, and cedar flags.
Those are all fun ones to watch, and I do recommend some of the others I mentioned on the list.

Theme Park Worldwide is also an amazing channel. Sean and Charlotte are from the UK and they’ve just surpassed 350K…great set of channels they have.
I am familiar with them, but I don’t really watch any of the UK channels.
@@ThemeParkAvenue neither do I per se, but they’re at the tail end of a 25 US park trip in 30 days and each day has a vlog from the park. It’s their positivity and enthusiasm which keeps me engaged. I know you’re busy, but if you get the chance, a may be worth a watch, at least for inspiration. By the way, keep up the great work on your channel!!!

Also what Bryant has done with Coaster365 is incredible with how short of a time he's actually been om youtube content how long hes been doing it on Instagram

I know this wont land here as your channel is US based but digital dan is the best UK and European RUclipsr by far. Makes his videos funny snd interesting whilst also addictive. Like i say though, UK based probably won't land here

Interesting list, (thanks for sharing some smaller channels to support!) Personally, I'm fond of Coaster Studios, (Taylor, and now Sarah) because without him I would have never gotten over my fear of roller coasters as a kid. I started watching him when he first started (i was maybe 9 at that point), and now he's making full-blown documentaries! I also can't get enough of El Toro Ryan, and Airtime Thrills.
I also got into coasters because of Taylor, but his content is far from my favorite (or really the best for that matter) today.
@@ThemeParkAvenue yeah I agree. Still love him for sentimental reasons, but his content style has changed a lot. (a massive quality improvement, but also loss of some of the jokes/coaster parodies). been watching channels centered around my home park recently (Hersheypark Enthusiast) becuase I can actually compare my own experiences on the rides with their opinions, (unlike the big channels going to Europe, asia and west coast). Anyways keep up the great content!

My favourite channels would be Canobie Coaster and Coaster Studios. Taylor has improved over 10 years of running his channel, to the extent that the footage he shoots is hands down the best in the community. I've only been watching him for little over a year (even before I became an enthusiast) and he's the reason I'm here today commenting on this video. I had the incredible opportunity to meet Taylor and Sarah at a park once (and even got a mention in a vlog) which was really special. Mike from Canobie Coaster may not have the eye popping visuals that Coaster Studios has but he excels in in depth reviews that really explore the coaster that's being talked about. An example is Steel Vengeance. Despite the complexity of the ride, Mike deconstructed every sensation and made the video truly memorable. He also takes the time to reply to all my comments and questions which I think is really cool as well. They're both my favourite channels and I can't wait to see what they do in the future.

I have actually unsubscribed to many different coaster channels all for different reasons and was just overloaded with too much. Being much older than most the enthusiasts, ive been riding coasters since 1987 and have been to most parks in the country, i was just getting tired of it. I have experienced most the coasters along with several now defunct coasters, so i know how they are and have my own opinions on them. Having lived and worked in FL for the past 21 years, i focus on mainly park content for the state of Florida, more specifically Sea World/BGT and Universal and Fun spots. I tend to watch some of the other channels more like Canobie Coaster, Themepark Worldwide, midway mayhem, Xscream Thrills, East Coasters, Amusementinsider, coasters and travels, I'm still subscribed to you, and others, but alot of the smaller channels. Sometimes those feel alot more genuine than the larger channels trying to do too much. Also, ad sponsorship during a video automatically turns me off from the channel. I pay to be a RUclips Red member so i never have to watch ads cut in during videos.

I sure have. He makes fantastic content, but he doesn't have enough of it for me to judge against most of the other channels. On a more objective scale he would be high up on the list.

Looping Thrills is underrated imo... he has a small channel but his content has really improved as of late... & Theme park predictions also has some really interesting content... How come they didn't make the list?
Both of those channels make prediction content that I consider to be clickbait, and they don’t have engaging content to back it up. It is fine if you like them, but I don’t really enjoy their style of videos.
Coaster Studios, ElToroRyan, Theme Park Crazy, In the Loop, Canobie Coaster, Zero Credits Remaining, and RampagingRexProductions Cedar Flags and CoasterFanatics are some of my favorites.
Im kind of afraid to mention this but I also did watch a lot of OhioValleyCoasters. But sad what happened with them…

Digital Dan, it’s nice to have some UK based content and he recently rode a Volare 87 time to raise over £3000 for a mental health charity which is always fantastic. He does have awful taste in F1 teams though.

Ah yes, it is true that they don’t watch other videos, particularly ones that talk about Coaster Studios. The channel was definitely an inspiration for me and I wouldn’t be Theme Park Avenue right now had his channel not been there when I started getting into coasters.
