Today we Replace the Front Differential Bushing on the 2007 H3 Hummer AKA REPLACEMENT FRONT FRAME BUSHING. This was definitely a successful project. No more knocking when shifting to reverse and drive and smooth down-shifting. Just a quick note: if you have a machine shop nearby, you may want to consider bringing it there and do the swap for you.
Extremely well presented, excellent voice, clear and precise, and perfectly shot video. That’s the cleanest undercarriage I’ve ever seen. Lots of pre video preparation. After watching this, I’ve gone from “er…I don’t know, this looks daunting…” to “hey, I can do that!” Thanks for the tutorial!

I have this problem of my car, we went to mechanic shop and they cant take it out. So I'm still driving it with thud sound when I back up. We have to find a better shop.

Why not use the bushing press to press it out?
We dint have one available..
Just a heads up, the Colorado/Canyon/I350 (aka 355 platform) do NOT have this kind of differential setup. They have two bushings/bolts on either end.

Would this bushing also cause the car to vibrate when driving?
yes, we noticed a vibration that would last even after hitting a pothole or bump. We never felt it again after we did the bushing... hope that helps

Thanks man! Called AutoZone oreillys advanced auto parts and Napa and they all told me the same thing. They don’t make those parts anymore
