There are a lot more in those Kentucky Woods than residents care to admit. It's a wild and beautiful place, I worked on Line Boats on the Ohio and Tennessee River. At night using our huge spot lights, you get all kinds of crazy eye shine and just all around weirdness. Great job again STM, always top notch. Thanks

Ok. I was somewhat reluctant to share my story again because the last time I did, I got raked over the coals, but here it goes. About 15 years ago I was driving slowly along a rural Stewart county (Tennessee) dirt road in July. It had just rained a bit so the road was damp, and my car rolling down that type of road didn't make much noise. As I came around a slight turn, and over a small rise I saw an individual in the road down on hands and knees kind-of crouched over as if he/it was collecting something on the ground. Suddenly he turned and saw me and immediately took off across the road with one powerful lunge. He went through the high weeds and briars and entered a dense tangle of briars like a wild animal jumping , running like hell and just kept going until I lost sight of him. This was in a very remote area of the county, and there were no homes for miles at that time. I just could not figure out why he would act like that. Most anyone else I encountered just casually waved at me, and I wave back in a friendly gesture. It seems somewhat trivial, but it made me feel rather perplexed at the time. He looked unkempt and shaggy, and I wrote it off as a guy that may have been living in the woods, not wanting to be seen. He was about 50-75 yards from me so I couldn't see much detail. Whenever I drive by that spot now, I always think about it. Not saying for sure what he or it was, just what I encountered that day years ago. Take it for what it's worth.

We heard loud footsteps running across our yard then my dad came back in terrified. 5 minutes later military vehicles started coming down our lane and told my dad at gun point to get his ass in the house. My dad asked what the hell that was and they said he wasn't on a need to know basis and ordered him and us away from the windows. After they all left and all settled down i heard my dad whisper to my step mom that was no man they were chasing.

I lived in Manchester ky for several years. It was one of the most challenging times in my life and I started self medicating I am not proud to say. Drugs have been a big problem in that region it’s no secret. At the time Bigfoot was the last thing on my mind. One night I was alone at home and had been doing drugs. It was very late 2-3 am. My home was on a row of houses with nothing behind us but woods for miles. At one point I decided to peek out the window. It freaked me out to see three figures across the street standing just at the edge where a bunch of foliage was. They looked like they had ghillie suits on. There was a street light not too far away that was behind them and the foliage and the light allowed me to see them as silhouettes. However the foliage did a good job of hiding them for the most part. One of them was slightly swaying side by side. Since I was doing drugs seeing this made me very paranoid and I worried they were cops. My thought was these figures were cops spying on me. Otherwise it made no sense. I wasn’t hallucinating but I was stressed at that point.
This was two decades ago and I got clean and changed my life. Thinking back it’s really weird. I am certain I saw three figures that looked like people- in the dark, wearing what I thought were ghillie suits, very very late. They weren’t cops spying on me (that was my brain being paranoid) but there were three figures there. One of them swaying side by side slightly.
I’ve been fascinated by Bigfoot since then and I remembered that night. With a different perspective I have to wonder if they weren’t in ghillie suits and it was actually hairy people that were sneaking around the neighborhood.

What I'd like to ask is whether you have ever considered a video that focuses on examples of conducting a proper investigation? One that shows folks all the do and don't examples as you see them? Great job STM and Charlie from Kentucky Bigfoot is a class-act. I’ve always believed in what we call Bigfoot. Both my parents saw one cross Taylorsville Road near Old Heady Road outside Louisville, KY over 40 years ago. They said it crossed the road in front of them, it was Bipedal, prob around 7Ft, and my mom described it looking like a gorilla. My parents said that as it crossed , it turned its head and looked directly at them, showing intelligence of some kind. Both my parents know the exact spot and day they saw it. My dad claims he also saw one coming out of a sewer grate when he was a kid, and that the other kids with him saw it as well. They are definitely out there, we just don’t know what exactly they are.

Yes they have been in Morgan, Menifee, Powell and Greebup Countys of Eastern Kentucky!
Theres a new Bigfoot mural up at the Nada Tunnel, close to natural bridge, Red River Gorge area where there's been quite a few bigfoot sightings.
A lady, who has passed, she moved from Morgan to menifee county an told that she had saw something in the edge of the woods on her property.
She described it as having a head like a German Shepherd dog with short arms, she had noticed it the whole 30 years she lived there.
    Thanks for this amazing video!

Is it true that Kentucky is a Cryptid hot spot, ive heard that it is the most active state in the Midwest area?

I do believe Kentucky is a state with a high rate of sightings. We sit on one of the largest cave systems, the topography is diverse from the farmlands to rolling hills to the mountainous hollers of Eastern Ky. Multitudes of reports of high strangeness in our beautiful and mysterious state.

Awesome video. I enjoy learning about things out in the large state parks. I have a very curious mindset. While riding up at the Graves Mountain horse trails, I and some friends ended up lost. Afterward, getting back on the correct trail at dusk. I noticed something very large watching our group up on the mountainside. All of us seen it and figured it was a black bear. But for some my mind had other ideas.

You know back in early 90's i use to bow hunt over there on Taylorsville WMA. We was on Briar Ridge and i was down toward the lake. I had been there bout 1.5 hrs was in eve and bout 10 deer come flying by me from direction of lake and heard a growling scream. I know what a bocat or fox sound like but this more like volume and long scream. I have heard african lions roar loud like that but longer. But thats when deer came a running. My friend was bout 500 yrds away and heard it to. Then friend down there hike to fishing spot one night and said he heard a scream couple times and he loaded up and left, said freaked him out never heard anything like it while fishing at night. This was bout Feb of this year. at bout 12 at night he said. Funny thing that part where ya was tree knocking and you could hear whistle i have heard the same thing out hunting down along river in Henry and Franklin county. Where you are and walking up hill if you went down to left ya would run into old county road ends at wma theres gate, would of saved you the walk and climb.

Interesting video. I had my first face to face there in south central Kentucky. Sort of knew they were there, but at that time I didn't know what they were. I knew it wasn't a bear, but it looked human like. Two eyes, a nose, a mouth, the whole face looked human, but the body was hairy and really, really big. I was approximately 9 to 10 feet from it. Walked up on it in the blackberry bushes.

I'm in South Adair county, near Metcalf. Can you tell me more? I had 2 whooping behind my house in the holler last week around midnight. Think they stole pears off my tree. I'd appreciate any info or advice you have. I haven't seen one, but been growled at, scared my farm animals, dogs don't go out. Silence. Pressure of being stared at. Pebbles thrown at roof.
