Glad my little country showed-up on the list, but would a 'per capita' number be more relevant?

We need more indicators for the wealth or power of a country. Imagine you build very durable goods, like houses, buildings, roads, cars etc. so that you don't have to produce many of them and don't need much maintenance to keep them in good functioning state without expert maintenance repair people. That would mean your GDP would go down, while living standards would stay the same or even go up. Or take African traditional houses: they can be built in a matter of days with material that is available for free in the direct environment all year round.
