I'm sorry, usually I enjoy your discussions, you are a fun group to listen to! But the discussion about Louis' suicide attempt and how it was supposedly performative got me really uncomfortable 😞 I know that he's a fictional character, but seriously. That was not cool.
I know, but Louis was pretty awful this season. He doesn’t respect or even like Armand. Part of me thinks (even in his hyper emotional state) he knew Armand would come get him
You ladies are super talented, I wish all the success. The amount of detail you put into your segments are refreshing. I watched Season 1 of IWTV and enjoyed it even though I had to skip through the male on male sex scenes, lol. I haven't watched any episodes of season 2 yet, I will when I can watch it with no distractions. Right now I'm working on season 3 of Mayor of Kingstown right now (You should watch that show). However, when watching season 1 of IWTV I thought Louis was being glamoured on a daily basis, whether voluntarily or not, in time will tell. Let's be honest, Louis is a weak vampire because of his age. Him getting involved with older vampires is dangerous because he's not strong enough to end the relationship if he wanted to. It would be a twist if the glamouring was voluntarily. Louis' life is full of mistakes and pain. Louis is one of the few vampires that tries to have a moral compass, but his vampiric nature overrides it. What if Louis never had the intention of making a book? If so what would be his true intentions for Daniel? What if Daniel has been glamoured to rinse and repeat his reuniting with Louis throughout his stages of life for entertainment sake? IDK, I'm curious of what you ladies think because Daniel could have written something by now.
I'm chewing on the hints that Jacob Anderson dropped, that Louis is not the innocent victim we think he is, and Raglan James offering the advice to Daniel that Armand is not the real threat. I'm wondering if we're going to have some type of revelation about Louis, that is is more culpable in events than we think he is.
I wasn't here because the old tree fell over at my parent's place and I wasn't in the mood after what happened but I'm okay now. Omgee this episode was so good!! I had to watch again with subtitles because I did not want to miss a single word spoken… Baby Louie and Armand were reading each other caps back blue!!! But Armand came in with that “ finish him” had poor Louie running out into the sun… I’m with you and that Louie does not know what he wants… it’s like he feeds off drama; I’m like boy you should have stayed over there with Lestat… I really hope Season 3 show us some more of Armand I am so intrigued by him… I really want to know more about him… Again I am so happy I found your channel.. I be needing to decompress after watching these episodes!!! Ok until next episode
