He's the real deal. Way better than Harris, glad he's gone, what a waste of time and money. Just think we could of had Bulter, and or Haliburton. It all depends on the big fella.
The one thing I liked the most was confident shots off the dribble. Not afraid of doing something with the basketball when it’s presented to him. Tobias plenty of times felt timid and unsure sometimes to me whenever he got his shots. Also PG is just looks so smooth with his handles so shot creation looks so much easier for him than it was for Tobias.
Agree , but I hope that PG will be driving to the hoop a bit more this season. When PG's jumper is falling , it's obviously straight water. But if PG goes cold, then that's a problem. He is 6'9 , he can finish at the rim over a lot of players. He isn't as athletic as before , but it's still possible to get past a lot of defenders by just using his pace or finish with correctly timed bumps of the defender.
PG won’t really need to drive to the rim as much this year if we have Maxey and Caleb Martin in the starting lineup. Both those guys are relentless at attacking the rim and putting pressure on the defense. We’d be fine with PG taking catch and shoot 3’s, pull ups off the dribble and facilitating the offense from time to time.
@@TheSyndicate09 PG is the type of guy who usually needs get into a rhythm. And if his jumper ain't falling , what he gonna do ? He is gonna be useless on the offensive end . One of the reasons why PG is inconsistent is because he settles for jumpers way to often , that's why he sometimes shoots his team out of the game. And also the defense knows the dude is probably gonna pull-up , in the playoffs it's easier to gurard him. But if he drives more often , he has a way of keeping the defenses honest and make his pull-up jumper deadlier , not only that , if he drives , then he gonna have a way of finding his rhythm regardless if his jump shot is falling or not
@@kkk-y5i If his jumper isn't falling he can still facilitate and run the offense at times as a point forward. PG is one of the most versatile offensive wings in the NBA. I'm just saying the way our roster is setup we don't NEED him to attack the rim often because we have two great guards in Maxey and Caleb Martin who excel at doing that. We also don't need him to attack off the dribble, Embid commands so much attention that PG can cut and slice his way to the rim without even having the ball in his hands. This is arguably the most talented Roster PG has played on and the 76ers only need him to be a 3rd scoring option.
Dang we about to be nice! If we could win all them games and be so tough with Tobias, imagine how good we'll be with Paul George. Pretty ever bucket PG hit was something you wouldn't see from Tobias.
Embiid has to work on his playmaking, he’s got Maxey and George now that can punish double teams but they need to get the ball. Embiid’s court vision has to improve for that to be effective
Yeah - the technical difficulties was fun viewing. I couldn't watch everything but the stat line looks like McCain outplayed Gordon and Jackson. Hopefully he keeps that up. And very happy to see George and Maxey working so well together already. When Embiid comes back that's going to make things alot more complicated. I hope they can find that rhythm fast.
Solid game when George playin like this we will have quick progessions. McCain impressed me and i said after the summer league that he need time to play but he is ready. Bona,Edwards,Tucker,Mintz for the Blue Coats. Reggie Jackson should get more mintues than Lowry. Quicker, more dangerous and solid passing iq. Hope Yabu get enough minutes from Nurse. I feel he get frustrated like Council last Year because of less minutes. Downtin Jr is a smart player like him and Gordons jumper was not fallin but he can still attack the rim is very nice. Drummond biggest weapon are Offensive Rebounding and his passing skills are underrated. Hope is dribbling not so much how he did Yesterday 😅😅
Idk why but at first glance pg8s offense w the sixers reminded me of that james harden sixers offense. It seems slow and iso-centric. Hopefully nick nurse can create a better offense when jojo gets back
PG was on fire BUT, there wasn’t much ball movement. I knew Oubre and PG were shooting as soon as they touched the ball. McCain should get regular season minutes, we definitely picked the right player in the draft. We might struggle in the beginning but once we find a rotation and develop chemistry we will be hard to beat… if everyone plays (Embiid)
did you feel PG was a bit slow in his movement/decision-making? I didn't get to see much of the game but unfortunately I missed the part where he really started to get going
I m Laughing it’s Preseason He just got with the 76ers just like how Harden was Fans will hype Paul George up until he messes up with a injury or screws up in playoff s then what 👀
No totally knock on PG, but i truly believe a combination of Miles Bridges & DeMar DeRozan, Kyle kuzma would have been more beneficial than a player who's in the downward spiral of his career
Biggest concern with PG for me was him getting locked up by teams with great defensive wings like the Celtics and Knicks but although it’s only pre season this game has filled me with a little more confidence as the Timberwolves are another one of those teams
@@Aidan0476 the reason I asked is because from the little I watched (before the game kept getting interrupted due to technical issues), defenders were closing out on PG very tightly, it didn't seem like he was creating much separation at all but perhaps I need to watch the game again anyway to see what changed

We are about to have a special year

Bro what???? This breakdown was insane and so perfect. Half of the game wasn’t shown but it doesn’t matter because of this video. Appreciate you homie
Excellent work even with technical difficulties 👍🏾
Sixers 1 seed and another Embiid MVP I’ve seen enough
It’s great having a forward that doesn’t make me wanna puke when he shoots a three
He looked very aggressive and created rim pressure. It was nice to see because it is very easy for him to settle for jumpers.
If only we could’ve watched it
Finally a real wing player and 3 level scorer. Finally.
Gonna be a fun season
