Leave Embiid alone. When he is healthy he is the second best big in the league. He been roughing out injuries trying to pull this team to a championship every year. And the only thanks he gets is criticism for not getting there. I wish we could give him a whole season to get better like they gave kd and allow him to Get fully healthy. And not partially.

Been saying we would never win with Embiid since the heat series 3 years ago. I could never unsee how pathetic he played in games 5 and 6. Looked like he wanted to be anywhere in the world other than the basketball court. He’s not mentally right. Never has been.

It’s honestly a joke how much criticism this guy gets. He is unfairly criticized and it’s so obvious it’s not even a question. Best talent the NBA has ever seen and gets brought down by freak injuries. But because he plays through those injuries and stays loyal to the worst franchise in history who puts him through insane drama, he gets unfairly maligned. Honestly, I kinda wish the guy would have just asked for a trade like 5 years ago after they didn’t sign Jimmy. He would have went to a contender, probably won multiple championships, and be recognized as the great that he is simply because he went to a big market with a functioning organization that the NBA doesn’t have a grudge against. I feel bad for the guy. Seems like he has a good heart everyone just wants to put him down unfairly.

The thing is the 6ers are kinda stuck with this team with exception of a KJ Martin trade that would make minor/medium difference. Either nobody would want Embiid or the return would never be substantial to contend. Nobody would want PG and his contract. The rest, without Maxey ofc, would not be valuable enough to get something great in return. The best this team could do is change the coach and make some medium trades. If the team doesnt turn it around mediocrity will be as usual..

Embiid's behavior about criticism of his game over the last few years has really put into perspective and made me appreciate the way LeBron has handled himself for 20 years. LeBron is a diva, but he carries himself with more class when it comes to criticisms of his game.

I actually feel bad for the guy. Greatest talent in the history of the sport, gets super unlucky with freak injuries like broken eye sockets, but plays through all of it anyway because he wants to win so badly, deals with all the insane controversy from the worst franchise in sports history, and still manages to carry a G-league team every year. Then what thanks does this guy get? Constantly bashed and criticized beyond any normal player because the NBA hates the Sixers for the process era or something. Ngl ive been hate watching the 76rs since the knicks series, the biggest difference is in Embiids floor game. Hes not energetic on defense and his rebounding has fallen off. Sure he was never a shot blocker but he had a presence in the paint that detered defenders from driving. Now hes more of a tall obstacle drill than a rim protecting big.
