During winter my family has adopted the Swedish tradition of using a sauna or well at our house we have a steam shower so a wet sauna, it’s a wonderful way in the evenings or mornings for us to warm up.
Something that surprised me at a laundromat recently. Nowadays, laundromats have calculator-like keyboards that let you enter your mobile number, lock the door, and send you an email when your laundry is ready, meaning you don't have to wait in line at the laundromat.

I came home with so many Japanese coins last week. I tended to use 1000 yen bills and always received coins. I forgot to use them in the airport. Mount Fuji had no snow. I was very surprised. I miss the sandwiches and onigiri from 7/11 and Lawsons. 😅
Kotatsu season has started woohoo. We love playing board games, my husband is currently building a gaming table so we have more space to play them. Chicken Pot Pie and Kotatsu?? The cozy season has arrived! Oh my goodness I have never seen the head shoulder knees game but it looks so much fun. Happy Birthday Nate!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NATE! We need a new heater for our kotatsu. It worked for one day and quit! But that was kind of expected because it's 30 years old, after all! 😅 Fortunately, the heaters are affordable on Amazon. We just have to wait till next month's budget because we got floor chairs this month. We crawled under it with our electric blankets! Lol
I missed the live. So sad. I realized I will probably not make a live until spring as we had a time change in the US and I guess Japan does not have a time change. Now it goes live at 5 instead of 6. Before I get up for work.

Leg extenders are such a smart thing! I've seen them made for beds and couches! I might want to raise our kotatsu by a couple of inches as well.
