- Songs affect us all deeply in different ways, so we do a thing called Group Therapy where we share what a song has meant to us. For the first time ever, we did Group Therapy with the band responsible for the song in the same room.
Leslie came in a shared with Tenth Avenue North how important "Worn" has been in her life, and then the band plays the song.

Leslie's story is my story- at the lowest point in my post divorce this song came out and I heard it for the first time at a TAN concert. It moved me to tears and later that month ended up in my journal when I had no words left to say how I felt. At my lowest point, Mike's lyrics spoke my heart and God comforted. Thank you for this song and the hope it brings, letting those who are going through the valley of the shadow that they are not alone.
Eileen...yes, Leslie's story is also my story...It was over 20 yrs ago but I threw my bible down and told God I can't talk to you right now! A year later God came to me through customers at my table talking about Jesus. I kept going back to their table to hear that name again. There is power in the name of Jesus. I missed Him so much. I had to learn to trust Him again. He is so patient with us. That experience changed my life forever...I learned to love God as my Father and Jesus as my closest friend and Lord. I dwell in the Spirit daily now and have peace. Life is still a struggle sometimes but I will always trust My Father and Lord now...God is so good to speak to us through these songs...God bless this band and their commitment to Him....Thank you.

The song worn I heard today it hit me hard because so much has happen in my life the last two year. I I listen to this song I Thought wow that’s a powerful song and how that it’s not just me that feels worn,but so many Christian are tired and ready for Jesus return. We live in a broken world where people feel as if they can’t go on, but the real problem is that so many people turn to everything but God. We sometimes wonder why does my life as a Christian seem so hard at times,for God tells us he will take care of us that he will never leave or forsake us. I feel many times we fail to look at the big picture in all of our struggle, and many time we get worn; we take our eyes off of Jesus and forget that God was human and has already been where we are at. This song made me think that we may go through things we don’t want to and don’t understand, but God want let our Struggles and pain go to Waste; he will one day when we Least expect it turn into something Beautiful. Help me Lord to trust you when I don’t understand and when I can’t find my way, and when I get worn help me Lord to always be able to cry out to you. “Beautiful and powerful song.”
This song is an amazing tool to share with non believers. I share it all the time at work with people who are worn out by corporate America.
Not just you who read this has problems, struggles, trials and temptations of life. When all these things take over your life, you become broken, depressed and worn. The power of God, the strength we have through Jesus, the renewed spirit of life in you should make you stand up and fight once again like a warrior, because you are not dead still, Lord has kept you alive still. From the beginning the devil bring bad things in our life but God changes only the bad good for us. So be of full courage. Fight till your last breath. Do not give up.

I am surprised by your comment that there are Christian stations that do not want to play your song because it does not "resolve" with a happy ending. As a recent widow, I appreciate that you recognize the place for LAMENT. We are called to weep with each other. Thank you for being REAL, not glossing over the struggles with saccharine lyrics.

Tenth Avenue North is my favorite band because of how close and personal they make Jesus feel, it's deep and honest. God is really living and moving in these men! I almost never can sing the chorus more then once without weeping. The part that I feel closest with is the last line of the third stanza, when his voice lowers and Mike sings "And all that’s dead inside can be reborn. 'Cause I'm worn". There are so many amazing parts of this song! My whole soul and voice just rise with the chorus! This song is a personal friend, and it always helps me to know others get worn, and our prayers wear thin. Anyone relate?
This song is how my son felt. He was so so sick & he was tired of fighting . So I played ur song Worn for him April 30th 2017 when he went to Heaven.
This song is going to be playing at my funeral in the next couple months. it moves me and i want others to hear it, spcially my kids. i am WORN nad just can't fight any longer.
