I’m starting to wonder if the Jesus most Christian’s believe in today is pages of the Bible rather than Jesus Christ himself. Because they so stubbornly don’t won’t to hear God himself.

I never hear people who claim to be Christian (evangelical or other) talk about Jesus to the beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints they way we believe He is. I’m starting to think none of them understand the beliefs they argue against. Also I never hear the basics explained that well, though it is beautiful and wonderful concepts from the Bible.

I would disagree for this one reason. The trinity. Mormons do NOT believe in the trinity. The Godhead. As they call it, is very drastically different from the trinity. Believing where He went when He died or believing in something He might have done is very different than believing who He is. Calvinists Methodist ect all believe in the trinity. They just have different opinions in what He may or may not have done. Mormons believe He has a body, He is created by God the Father ect ect ect….

@@JJustifiedthe argument that we believe they are brothers is a misunderstanding of our doctrine. We believe just as the Bible that Lucifer was the son of the morning and one of Gods angels ( children ). We also believe that he was cast out of heaven . Lucifer is now satan So drop the ignorance it’s a rude claim by the anti-Mormons to make us look like some kind of devil worshippers!
No, where in the Bible does it say that God the father is Jesus Christ the son it only says that they are one. And of course we understand that differently because we have more knowledge given in our faith.

Jesus is the God and creator of all things. You listed different things people believe that Jesus did. Your Jesus is fundamentally different in his nature and character. Most Christian denominations are in unity around who Jesus is. The LDS church diverts radically from the biblical and historical truth about who Jesus is. The idea of a “different Jesus” is biblical (2 Cor 11).

@@danthemann7The trinitarian view of God (3 persons 1 being) is not found in the Bible. No verse describes God as 3 persons 1 being in the Old or New Testament, if God was like that then wouldn't you think it would have been explicitly mentioned? It doesn't say that and no honest reading of the Bible would lead you to conclude that God is 3 persons 1 being and every Biblical scholar of all denominations agrees that it doesn’t. The Bible claims Jesus Christ is Lord (Romans 10:9, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Philippians 2:11) and the Son of God (Matthew 3:17, Matthew 17:5, John 10:36, John 20:31, Acts 9:20), He is our mediator with God (1 Timothy 2:5), He said that God the Father is greater (John 14:28) and that God was his God (John 20:17), He wanted us to be one with Him and God as they are with each other (John 17:21-23). Paul very clearly tells us that to us there is one God, the Father and one Lord, Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 8:6, 1 Timothy 2:5). No where in the Bible does it describe God and Jesus Christ like how you all do and there is no verse in the bible to back up your pagan belief and to explain it you have to use sources that came centuries later. It’s not in the Bible, at no point did Jews believe in some 3 person 1 being “god” and isn’t something taught and/or defined by Christians for centuries.
