Replace B7 Volkswagen Passat DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (step by step)

Learn how to change DRL on VW Passat 2011-2015. Install new daytime running light bulb yourself instead of taking it to a dealership. It may be a bit frustrating if you don't get it out at first, but definitely worth the pleasure once it's done.

This is the little Mrs. commenting here, Thank you! As a 5'3" female, I was able to do this by opening the hood. Always baby VW plastic parts, the older the car is the easier they break. It was frustrating!!!

Just did this myself. Your video was helpful. For me, I needed to rotate the bulb fixture clockwise to pull the bulb from the headlight. Just a tip if that helps anyone

Thanks for the honest commentary. When I was changing the bulb it slipped out of plug and was inside the headlight assembly. I had to take out the headlight bulbs and fish around for the drl bulb. Hope to never have to do that again.

That's true. Lots of things are designed so you have to take it to the dealer
