Went ahead and did the same upgrade on my 2014 Passat. Fantastic upgrade! beam pattern isn't as perfect as some of the projector setups, but still a phenomenal improvement over stock! Much brighter and more light....much much more. Thanks!!

Is there ever going to be a video coming out on how to install the whole lighting package in 16-19 Passat’s?
Now that I have the low and high beam Lasfit's, I'd never deal with Halogens again. May as well be filament light bulbs compared to these.
Just installed the latest version of these, all well except I've got an installer hint: As the led assembly is a little longer than the halogen bulb it's possible to insert it a bit crooked while trying to fit the bulb in the socket, hit the edge of thin metal bulb shield inside the headlamp and bend it to one side. Ask me how I know ;-). To fix it, I used two small screwdrivers (4 " long blades) inserted through the socket hole to straighten the bulb shield. Not perfect, but close to. It's very thin metal so it's easy to move, doesn't take much force.

The fog light did they come on the car or you did an upgrade?
And the day running lights can they also be upgraded ? I have a 2013, SE. and I want brighter lights... your make a huge difference. What’s the cost and do they come in pairs ?

No..it was factory bulb blown ..but i went to the exact h7 standard.. Replacement using factory housing thats on video ..but the 2 metal contacts kerp coming unconnected..it wont stay locked in place
If you bought standard H7 LED bulbs, you need to buy the adapter together.
Did you buy the standard H7 LED bulbs from lasfit.com? If so, you could return them back for exchange these custom H7 LED bulbs.

Do you know the size for daylight running lights on a 2016 Passat r-line. Lights finally died out.

They are the stock reflectors unfortunately, however it is a huge difference. I will get a few pictures you this evening.

My car is the passart B7. I installed this lasfit before about 1 week. However check meesages is displayed. Are there any precondition before installation? I just stopped the engine and installed it
It's ok to stop the engine before installation.
Any error code/warning come up on the dash?

I found the conditions that caused the error messages. If I turn on the ignition in a bright place, an error message appears. Not at night or in dark places.

Just buy these bulbs. Plug and play. I needed new rubber boots for the back of the housing. 7$ on Amazon

@@richardnumedahl359 These LED bulbs only fit low beam. Even though high & low beam both are H7, but the retainer holder/clips are different.
