    how would i go about buying farm land in Uganda? I grow Avocados here in California and I know they need sandy loam soil and good drainage. I am thinking about taking a trip to Uganda and looking for some farmland to start an Avocado grove. Would be nice to meet some friends there.

      Thanks bro for appreciating and for your question. Well, the best place is Rwenzori region. I.e. in districts of Kyenjojo, Kamwenje, Kibaale, Fort portal, among others. This is coz of the good climate, fertile soils and the affordable farmland.

    Thank you so much , it was a very useful information. A question for you, lets assume that 5 seedlings fail to grow and 5 seedling broke during transportation, that is a total of 10seedlings but remember we bought 30 more extra seedlings. Do you advise to fix them somewhere within the farm for them to grow or leave them to die out and secondly do we need to get technical people to check the farm land for acidity and alkalinity.

    • @greengoldfarminitiative3898
      @greengoldfarminitiative3898  10 месяцев назад

      Thank you Rogers. Well, its very important to engage technical people in any matters that a well known to them. For the fatalities of seedlings in the entire process its normal, despite measures in place, however it is always foreseen, n so the only solution is to replace the affected. if you have enough land, extra seedlings can as well be planted, provided u maintain the spacing.

    • @greengoldfarminitiative3898
      @greengoldfarminitiative3898  Год назад

      @@rayjil7435, Thanks for your questions. Well, avocado tree could also be categorized under dwarf trees. But in most cases, their heights are controlled to the farmer's height. i.e. the height that you're able to pick fruits. and so this imply that you have to chop off any protruding branch that goes beyond the desired height.
      Secondly, holes are dug at 2ft x2ft at depth of 2ft.
