Hey Hard! Great video, as always!
Looking forward to the JR pass video. I'd like to add that while google maps will most likely be your go-to tool, Navitime Japan is complementary to it. Why? Because it has the one feature google maps could use (here's to hoping some googlers catch on), which is filtering by rail company. This way you can filter your route to use the JR pass more and get the most value out of it. Always be sure to DOUBLE CHECK the travel time though, as I have found that filtering a JR line can easily double a trip's time that would at most cost around $3 or $4 using a non-JR line.
    Cheers!

Thanks! Good point I will mention this in the JR Pass vidéo, but you're totally right about navitime. I've pinned your comment so others can see your great advice ! 😊

@@harblife Effective as of midnight April 29, 2023 (Japan time), all travelers arriving in Japan will no longer need to present proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test certificate. I want you to know how much I love your videos. My son and I visited Japan for the first time about 3 weeks ago. Keep in mind, this my first international trip ever! Osaka local here.
7:44 if you enter the country in Osaka and not Tokyo, you will not be landing at Osaka International Airport(ITM), but rather Kansai International Airport(KIX). The name is misleading, as ITM only has domestic flights. If you land in KIX, the Haruka express train will take you direct to Osaka station, while the Rapit express train will take you to Namba Station. Both train systems are very good options to access inner Osaka.

Glad I could answer your question! Ya to go more on that piece, the companies that are in charge of those ATMs will charge you a small fee to exchange it to your currency too. This means you will most likely get a worse exchange rate AND get charged a little bit.

Airbnb isn't too bad, but it won't save you too much money. I would say for just 1-2 people, airbnb and hotels will yield about the same results. If you start getting into bigger groups, then Airbnb will probably be better. Also, Wifi is great for groups, and sim is a little more convenient -- but only useful if you're by yourself.

Depends on where you plan on going. The JR Pass is going through some major changes soon anyway. So unless you plan on traveling before October this year, I don't think you need to worry too much about the JR Pass.

It depends on where your hotel is. Trains will stop generally around 12-12:30. if you can get through customs by then, you can probably take a train as close as you can get to your hotel, then cab the rest of the way.

Hello everybody! Please help with my following issue. I entered Japan last year on October 14th and I got short term stay permission for 90 days until January 12nd. I entered Japan the second time on May 4th 2023 and I got the same short term stay permission for 90 days until August 2nd. My question is: am I allowed to enter Japan again in November, specifically on November 2nd? I am a Romanian citizen.
