holy cow. that's a huge contraption for a web device. i can't imagine him doing anything with his hands since he'd be constantly misfiring his webs at any touch of the trigger. can't even do a simple handshake.
simplestrum it wouldn't misfire because the trigger required exact pressure from his fingers so that it won't go off if he makes a fist or anything else that requires his hands
Just watched this tonight on vhs having bought it off Ebay. I remember watching it with my cousin way back in 1981 when it played a local cinema, it was on a double bill with a film called cactus jack. Oh the memories from almost 35 yrs ago came flooding back. The effects obviously look a bit ropey by todays standards but i love the whole nostagia thing and Nick hammond played the part pretty well during the seventies.
I am a fan of old shows like this the budget and effects may not be that good but i can appreciate the effort they put in them i love old cheesy effects like this
That’s also how they the wall climbing scenes in Adam West’s Batman They fixed up the floor to look like the thing he was supposed to be climbing and angled the camera to force the perspective It’s genius really, but doesn’t work as well with certain parts of the house
It funny how he was climbing all over the outside of that house, and nobody saw him...lol. I can't check my mailbox without my nosey neighbors seeing me.
@rayson777 Well the question was made by J.J and then parker answers with "simple i believe" and then everyone in the room get that surprised expression !
This is Nicholas Hammond, the Spider-Man of 1977 The Spider-Man of 1974 was Danny Segren Yes I did miss the point on purpose so I’d have an excuse to bring this up, how could you tell?
You're right.. I like it but they could have taken SOME villans from the comics...Like The Enforcers, or The Crime King or whatever...or even Kingpen..
FUCKING EPIC!! I REMEMBER THIS SHIT!!! Nearly broke my neck climbing things after watching these shows, the first 1 was always the best, second movie was alright too!
Marco Freitas AND micro hooks that go through his SOCKS AND SHOES to support Tobey walking up walls... (sigh) I'm glad the writers went back to the idea of Spiderman's powers are all MENTAL energy based that merely look like they are biological and NOT any of those double talk body based abilities such as his spidersense is just his enhanced hearing and touch using his enhanced reflects reaction time. Sure how does enhanced hearing work through a locked door or across long distances? It does not work well if biopowered.
john norwood Real life spiders can tell what’s going on before it even happens this includes what’s going on behind closed doors and they do this by detecting changes in the air with their hair Plus you do realize that you can still here what’s going on behind a closed door right?
So we just ignoring that fact that the bad guys were fucked over by their own mind control device and Spider-Man exploited this to get a few group selfies?
In a 1977 fantasy movie talk about a serious moral issue such as social responsibility? Remember what happened to a little sci-fi series that did all those morality tales it got CANCELLED --TWICE. Once in 1968 and then again in 1969. Only because of syndication and a more sophisticated audience did Star Trek become the worldwide phenomenon it is now. In 1977 people still wanted mere escapism not serious moral tales rammer down their throats.
2028JT No they’ve always been mechanical the raimi films were the first thing to have peter do that Even though they should be produced organically and fired mechanically but that’s neither here nor there
Ahh Sure the Fight sequence is weak john woo wasn't around, but i appreciate the clothes, the furniture and the music the same goes for the Hulk @ least they had the characters accurate eventhough their wasn't that lady that played in CSI u know the Madam that Grissom get's to visit Absolutely, Perfect the role as MJ, but nowadays that Lohand actress will do
If you really wanna make fun of special fx, try watching the awful cg in the scenes with a cartoon Parker wearing a temporary Spidey suit in the first Raimi-directed SPIDER-MAN cinematic feature.
Marco Freitas That scene of cartoon Tobey in the red hoodie was specifically what convinced the Sony execs on the Spiderman feature film as the live action swinging was as bad in 2000 as it was here in 1977.
Loralynn Maresh Agreed. CBS and it's production team should have paid Marvel the extra money for the rights to Doc Ock and kept the original idea of super villians, as they kept the robot arm sequence which supposed to included lab administrator Otto Octavuis .... what COULD have been
that was amazing spider man for ya ! If a cure was spider venom than hey we are finding a cure that slows down death s grip and infloored truth welcome to Aquarius folks .. Now wake up !!
this was the Raddest spiderman ever ...........why the hell did they choose Tobey mcguire for the recent one .............? kinda ruins it , i would have preferred Heath ledger or brad pitt to play Spiderman ..............70 s version is wicked radd x x x
Amazing spider 1977 Nicholas Hammond as Peter Parker and Judy landers

The amazing spider-man 1977 pilot Nicholas Hammond as Peter Parker and Spiderman
Just watched this tonight on vhs having bought it off Ebay. It’s oddly satisfying when he makes his web shooters
I've been looking for this clip forever. LOVE that music.
But it also sounds like the music they used for that ridicolously awful emo dance scene in Spider-Man 3
@@tristenlaurie1867 Lol. You're right! I didn't even make the connection, but it kind of does.
Incredible ending theme! Modern epic music. This kind of music fits with Spidey much better than the one of the modern movies!
i enjoy watch Amazing of Spider man from 1977 to 1979 plus three movies base on three episodes
SPECTACULAR, nothing to say, when i was child i saw it always, thank you to posted it, regards from bologna, Italy.
Man I love ya for uploading this! You made my night! Thank you.
I am a fan of old shows like this the budget and effects may not be that good but i can appreciate the effort they put in them i love old cheesy effects like this
Imagine if Stan Lee was allowed to write the plot.
If only.
A live action Amazing Fantasy#15 with a University student Peter Parker is what I imagine.
The web shooters look pretty accurate! Can anyone upload all of this pilot?
i love how he's crawling over a painting of his aunt may's house.
That’s also how they the wall climbing scenes in Adam West’s Batman
They fixed up the floor to look like the thing he was supposed to be climbing and angled the camera to force the perspective
It’s genius really, but doesn’t work as well with certain parts of the house
I'm with docholiblazed513....i don't know what i was thinking when I was young. Although today's technologies have made it far more convincing.
@Hounsfield And for the 2012 reboot, he'll have web-shooters!!!
yes i do
@Hounsfield In the Marc Webb reboot it will be canisters like the comics
I love these special effects :-)
@Thenerdfiles12 its a tv series from the 70's
It funny how he was climbing all over the outside of that house, and nobody saw him...lol. I can't check my mailbox without my nosey neighbors seeing me.
Is been 14 years 😨
I saw this in the cinema when I was about 5.
The thing I remember most about it is...
Da Da Daaa Da Da Do Daaaaa, Do Da Daaaa, Da Da, Daaaa da!
Gael AlPz
It was both
This is common knowledge
@rayson777 Well the question was made by J.J and then parker answers with "simple i believe" and then everyone in the room get that surprised expression !
I was born in 1974 so I know. At least my version of Spider-Man!
This is Nicholas Hammond, the Spider-Man of 1977
The Spider-Man of 1974 was Danny Segren
Yes I did miss the point on purpose so I’d have an excuse to bring this up, how could you tell?
i rather watch this than those movies
You're right.. I like it but they could have taken SOME villans from the comics...Like The Enforcers, or The Crime King or whatever...or even Kingpen..
FUCKING EPIC!! I REMEMBER THIS SHIT!!!
Nearly broke my neck climbing things after watching these shows, the first 1 was always the best, second movie was alright too!
you know the peter parker character design was based off nicholas hammond
They never had Uncle Ben in this Spider-man
For me this is the original one!
as much as Christopher Reeve!
People who actually think this is good are overly nostalgic.
demoskunk
I have no nostalgia for this and I still like it the music is fucking awesome and the power discovery sequence is very well done
They never had webshooters in the Raimi flicks.
Marco Freitas
AND micro hooks that go through his SOCKS AND SHOES to support Tobey walking up walls... (sigh)

It's super stupid how he only has one web shooter
And Larry Tate as JJJ. Cool Guitar solo
So we just ignoring that fact that the bad guys were fucked over by their own mind control device and Spider-Man exploited this to get a few group selfies?
How come u can take pictures that no one can ?
Simple...I believe !!
AND THEN EVERYONE GETS :O
RE: Johnnie Spence
seriado não me sai da cabeça .the best the best....
wow lol
@Hounsfield 2002
he was already at the bottom of the house, why didnt he just use the front door instead of climbing all the way up to the window???!!!??lol
josue ramirez
Would you have used the door if you were capable of climbing
dude they couldve at least put Uncle Ben in and him not stopping the burgler that would later kill Uncle Ben.

@JZPotter right back athca
2.10 spiderfunk
It deviated pretty far from the comics but damn if Nicholas Hammond isn’t Peter Parker. Up there with Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield.
yippe man
aren't the webs supposed to come out of his arms not mechanical things?
2028JT The 2002 Spider-Man film and it's sequels had the organic web shooters. Almost everywhere else had mechanical web shooters.
2028JT
No they’ve always been mechanical the raimi films were the first thing to have peter do that
Even though they should be produced organically and fired mechanically but that’s neither here nor there
sorry but I don't saw Ivan Bonar at the credits =/
ok
@linchpin454 Just don't try to crawl down the side of a Tall building
Por favor emitir la serie en español latino.
