Also, it doesn't shred fragmented boss as fast as other setup. It can kill the SP version but it will take awhile.

Onos's is like some sort of super weapon you pocket it must the time and pull it out to delete big bad guys then pocket it again.
Do you even have the galvanized mods proc when you killed the archon? May be able to get more damage switching them out on single target fights

The Oh No's
Solo archons have the least amount of health and this is about 2-3 times slower than burstion, dual tox, furis incarnons just to name a couple. This is good but you need to do all that with that specific of a combo just to mimic true “boss killers”
The combo is a solid B+
I would be interested to see how fast it would be if he actually stacked cascadia flare beforehand. Each time he didn't even go past +90% dmg by the end of the phase. Still not sure if it would beat those, but it might be a viable alternative.

@@Dreadd81 I don’t even run galvanized mods on my speed run set ups nor flare so like I said this build is meh 😂 no real need to kill anything besides archon and deacons. You can also not guarantee full galvanized stacks in archon missions especially if speed running them as there is not guaranteed enemies to get stacks in the circle when fighting archon which obviously showed in video. Just go to yellow circle obliterate archon go to deacons one shot them and obliterate archon again. I’ve played long enough to see what that build is going for and even with max stacks it’s only going to be a bit more damage still will be slow compared to other weapon set ups. This is all btw on the WEAKEST version of the archon since he’s playing solo
@@mrlaughgas I’ve played for very long time and that it why I gave it a B+ I see what he’s going for and can estimate how much faster it’d be with the max stacks. Still a B+ 🤷🏻♂️ which is not bad by any means. And all of this only works on 1 frame where other weapons can be used with any frames which factors into my rating of it as well
Yeah I was about to say exactly that.. it shouldn't need extra stacks or setup to do it's job, when there's plenty of other things that don't. honestly I put far more formas on this thing than I should've trying to make it viable, so I might actually use occasionally it but if you want a true "boss killer" simply invest in the felarx or kuva hek instead. You'll do more damage faster & without the need for all the setup.

So another niche weapon. I figured this was the case when I began playing with this weapon last week. Very powerful, but for very specific enemies. For example the Onos is absolutely amazing for farming Thumpers.

@@ohboiipedersen3010 I'm glad it's not completely useless, but I am still severely disappointed. When I hear arm cannon I was expecting a void power Bubonico, or a void missile launcher.

Yeah, considering arm cannons are usually at least great this just kind of feels meh in general use (tho hitting a fully charged beam is always fun)
@@casablancoent2029 yeah its not quite that :/ tho it does alot of dmg in its normal form aswell and even the beam up to the laser is killing enemies very fast so id not call it all bad o: sorta just a fun nuke offhand if you arent a fan of vasto incarnan
@@ohboiipedersen3010 yeah but there are other weapons that do it more efficiently. The falarx, laetum, etc, Onos is cool, but it's not replacing anything in my arsenal and that sucks cause I legit wanted it to replace the laetum.

I just wanted something like the shedu, and if it was only that final shot yeah it beats the shedu in terms of satisfying but most of the time is going to be spent throwing pepsi cans at the enemy with your primary fire just to charge the incarnon, and then there is that yanky sac with incarnon that you also have to use a lot and isn't all that satisfying, just to buff your final shot.
So 90% of the time using this "arm canon" will be spent doing non-canon things.
I'd rather keep using my shitty shedu, it's subpar in terms of damage but every shot feels good. Damage be damned.
not to mention the onos sometimes acting weird and charge shot doing tiny damage or completely "miss" the target at point blank range.
@@0mniknightz bro yeah, happens to me a lot, I think I just don't know how that sac works, I haven't been able to figure it out, not to mention there is no auditory cue for when you're actually damaging an enemy with the sac. This gun was released in beta lmao.

It 1 shots no armor acolytes if you build up the cc and cd buff to 250%
I use my onos to just absolutely melt acolytes, and it's so much fun
I like the grimoire even though many said it's not too good, but I don't go to super high levels and it does well in steel path. I like fun weapons and not always meta weapons (it's why I don't play cod anymore because of the need for meta weapons or you suffer more).

All it's issues can be fixed by simply adding more base fire rate. I hope DE buffs the primary mode with more projectile speed and the Incarnon with less ammo consumption (or a larger ammo pool).
It's a great weapon but you need to do so much to make it work, and even then, you have the feeling of "Eeeh.. somenthing is missing.."
Nice vid showing the potential of Onos. It's not a bad weapon as many says. It just needs some adjustments.

Sir, it's about the new weapon Onos. Not your setup. We're not talking about the 'best boss killer' here, just the new one. Sorry, but sticking to just a few guns because they're meta is boring to me, personally at least. It's more interesting to me when you make a non-meta setup work. Experimenting with new builds is part of the fun.

Reaved thralls+ nyx mind controll+ aug+ all violet tao shards+ torid viral/slash build+ thrall pact+ 300% ability damage+ arcane avenger+ primary deadhead and secondary merciless... I don't care what your favorite frame is 4000% damage buff one taps everything in the game at level cap and you're immortal so... Warframe players only say rev is overrated cuz he's not their main. However you feel about him love or hate, he's still the best Warframe in the game, there's no game mode he struggles with, even god awful spy missions you equip shade prime and he goes through it with ease
Sorry I`m a new Warframe player. Bzt is it true that when you playing in a full squad team your weapon damge isn`t that great anymore. Has is somthing to do that the enemies scaling with MR or something ??
No, it does increase the amount of enemies that spawn and I think boss health. Never really noticed either before I just looked it up.

There’s a mechanic called damage attenuation that you’re thinking of. The simplest way to explain it is that it takes all the stats of your weapon and then gives the enemy a certain level of resistance to exactly what you’re doing so we can’t do things like one shot the archons anymore. But to clarify it has nothing to do with your MR and the reason it’s seems worse in a squad is because the boss is resisting everyone’s weapons collectively not just yours. If you have anymore questions I would check out thekengineer’s video about it. Also check out his videos for literally everything. If you want to learn the mechanics of the game and not just “this build good copy my mods” then you should check him out.
The health of all’ bosses usually scale with the number of the player currently in the mission.Example: acolyte,distruptor,kuva leech, bosses from assassination missions in the star chart,…(sorry for the bad English)

Personally I enjoy the fight being at a moderate pace however I'll never turn any advantages but I will limit the fight to a fair fight
(I've always believed that if you going to win the fight you play by their rules so if you win you would prove that you would always be the winner no matter who's rules it is because you have beaten them with their own weapons)

@@thegrindshackif you use a control the look analog (right stick) helps with the movements like turning corners but still you’ll still have stop completely for sharp corners tho
