The displacement of a particle starting from rest at t =0 is given by s=6t square _t cube .the time in seconds at which the particle will attain zero velocity again?       The reason is maximum point slope will be zero. For example, if you throw a ball in air, at maximum height reached by the ball, velocity is zero means derivative of displacement is zero. Take the derivative of displacement equate it to zero, you will get what time it reaches maximum height
