Spot on with the ground/earth as you are probably aware these old guzzis are renowned for problems with this issue.
    Good luck 👍

Great stuff!! Lovely methodical work. Best way to be with electrics! I was about to comment on chasing earths with a freshly coated frame as I've been all around that loop but you're miles ahead!

Great series of videos Mark. Many thanks for posting. I'm about to start rewiring a mk 2 Lemon and your electrical videos are very helpful

Good luck. The more I delve into the electrical system, the more I understand why these bikes have such a bad rep. :-) Cheers, Mark

The hazard lamp switch on my 1987 LeMans 1000 is also in this odd location behind the fairing. But at this point Moto Guzzi changed the switch to a square shape and it mounted into its own dedicated bracket. For the LeMans V the hazard switch moved up into the instrument panel.

For led lights you’ll need a new voltage regulator

Adjustable Voltage Regulator? Replaced all but the indicator lights on my 84 V65 and have had no problems, but would like to do the indicators at some point.

That's interesting Ry. Is that due to the voltage being too high with the standard part? Once I'm up and running, I'll take a look with a Multimeter and an oscilloscope. Cheers, Mark
