WOW..... what an absolute amazing cover of Periphery! If anyone is a follower of Periphery, we could all agree that they are a very unique band with amazing band members and Spencer as their singer. With that being said, I think Spencer is one the most unique vocalist to ever be in the metal/screaming/clean vocalist genre to this day. He is very easy to pick out and has his own specific talent and to follow up with that...Victor....buddy.....I mean....such a great voice. I haven't seen anyone get that close to Spencer Sotelos voice ever, great job man! You should be proud of that. And as always, Lauren B, hooking it up with the covers. The first time I listened to this cover, I hadn't really familiarized myself with the song all that much, as I'd gotten into Periphery with P3, but I still thought this was one of the most beautiful covers of any song I'd ever heard. Now upon listening to it again, I actually cried. Thank you all so much for the work and passion you put into these. It makes a difference.
Holy shit I love EVERYTHING about this! One of my fav Periphery songs, and everybody involved KILLED it! Lauren's lows, growls, that FLAWLESS quiet reprise...Victor's highs, screams, intensity...Ron's fills, and the uncanny way he's channelling Matt Halpern with that flowing "swell and crash" style, especially towards the end (and his drummer faces too, hah). Just phenomenal all around, amazing job guys! *EDIT* I'm no pro, but I thought the mix was great too! The vocal harmonies and layering were spot on, and both vocals and drums sit perfectly in the mix.

This is by far one of your best ever from their catalogue. Seeing your growth from Scarlet and Ragnarok way back when to the more recent Rainbow Gravity and Marigold in the last couple years is night and day. Watching this I thought to myself, this is the Lauren Babic I grew to love so much over the years. You've gone from doing bedroom Childish Gambino and Paramore covers to blowing Stranger Things (one of periphery fan's flagship songs) out of the water! THIS is pure talent driven growth. There are few who've ever done periphery justice ANYWHERE and to find 3 exceedingly talented people OWNING one of the most difficult songs warms my heart. juggernaut was a huge help to me at a low point in my life and I've never grown tired of the songs even to this day. Front to back every other day for years learning each song like the back of my hand I've scoured the depths of this site to find people who do these songs justice LOL. Not gonna lie, I've been blasting Bury The Light for the past few days and really felt a Periphery vibe from Victor's last chorus on that song. Think I get *why* now for sure.
That said, this is my favorite Periphery tune, and y'all absolutely nailed that shit.

Lauren I followed you back in 2012? 13? not even sure at this point. I've watched every single periphery cover you have done and I'm at a loss for words!!!!!!! This is by far one of your best ever from their catalogue. Seeing your growth from Scarlet and Ragnarok way back when to the more recent Rainbow Gravity and Marigold in the last couple years is night and day. Watching this I thought to myself, this is the Lauren Babic I grew to love so much over the years. You've gone from doing bedroom Childish Gambino and Paramore covers to blowing Stranger Things (one of periphery fan's flagship songs) out of the water! THIS is pure talent driven growth. There are few who've ever done periphery justice ANYWHERE and to find 3 exceedingly talented people OWNING one of the most difficult songs warms my heart. juggernaut was a huge help to me at a low point in my life and I've never grown tired of the songs even to this day. Front to back every other day for years learning each song like the back of my hand I've scoured the depths of this site to find people who do these songs justice LOL. Embarrassing as that may be it will never change the love I have for Periphery and your channel. Congrats to you two this was amazing. If you ever do another juggernaut or periphery song, PLEASE try and connect with a guy named "KIRBS" if you find his channel he's done damn near every song in the book from Periphery and I'd love to see you duet with him on 22 faces or Omega ?? Tbh, never been a fan of Periphery, so I was really curious about this cover. Ron was impressive on drums, and on such a technical song, respect! I didn't know Victor, super impressed with his vocals : I'm gonna check your stuff sir! Lauren : I'm a new fan (like 3 weeks ago) : you fucking slay, as always, even on a song I have never heard before. Can't wait for the new one :)
