Hello there
Still halloween and just in time to start spooky-chistmas, I managed to finish a new Mansion inspired in the WDW and TDR building, mixing two of my favourite things, the nightmare before christmas and the haunted mansion (and a cardboard box)
this build took me two weeks

Be careful when discussing Disney and such they will try to make it seem legit and then make you sign all of your work to them …….

@@rockinHurley777 yes when I was in my teens the visited our school and offered me and a few other kids summer internships and so my family saved up money and we took a week at the parks about three weeks before I would have started and we got an advanced copy of the contract because of some medical issues and stuff my lawyer said I should explain to them and when I was reading the contract it stated that while I was an employee/ contractor for them ANYTHING I worked on was Disney property and if I sold or distributed anything I could be arrested sued or worse …….
It's more likely that they'd send a cease and desist order or steal your ideas.

Similar to the Disneyworld haunted mansion which is a gothic-revival style, as opposed to Disneylands haunted mansion which is antebellum style. It’s very lovely either way and you did an amazing job! The haunted mansion was always my fave ride👍🏼

Terrific!! Amazing what you can do with some crafts, patience, talent and dedication. I love the distorted lines, bricks, tiles, each detail really gives life to this haunted mansion, and the painted colours. makes each part stand out greatly. Kudos!

Love seeing you fit pieces into place. My inclination is always to try to measure things to fit them, but it often doesn't work. Cutting the pieces to the actual place it will go seems like a better way.

Defitly a work of art with just a box or 2 , paint, clay, clear plastic, and a few other office supplies. What would bring this model to life is have the haunted mansion sound track playing from a Bluetooth speaker inside, and also some dim flickering lights like a candle flicker from some led’s or some incandescent light bulbs and program them to flicker. Otherwise very nice job.

Not the cardboard I guess 😝 I used air dry clay (grey & pink stuff) das or jovi, I have a container mixed with clay and water so that I can use it with a brush, also I used regular modeling clay (white) with glue or the pink substance, I painted first with black aerosol then acrylics
I came here for the fantastic art and was not disappointed. I was not expecting the primal instinct of orchestra class memories flowing back from high school. I haven't thought about Egmont in years, but I guess it still lived in my brain because I knew how the whole song went before it had barely started. I'm considering that a plus also.
