@@Psolian Actually, I have to agree with Mark Jakims. I was able to figure out some locations, but I don;t have the entire map memorized and somewhat more zoomed out would give better reference to the precise locations, by adding more landmarks.

My main building place is in front of the Den, near the small slope in front of it. It balances out everything neatly: it is a "noob" location (aka desert biome) so most players ignore the area and you will not get raided much - unlike the Highlands or Tundra which has players raiding everyday; it has great access to a huge variety of resources - although not overflowing with any particular basic resource like the Highlands with its huge iron mines and forests, it is nearby sources iron, wood, fiber, water and yellow lotus at the oasis, a camp with lots of weak NPC to grind for exp / religion / leather / iron bars / get thralls, and close to the main brimstone farming location, Sepemeru, Unnamed City and the Highlands and Tundra.
Coal might as well be mudman (imp) poop if you live anywhere close to a body of water. Build sandstone foundations so the water is never more than waist deep.. put as many fish traps as you can place in there (hopefully at least 20-30) build about 10-14 fluid presses and you can press more oil than you can use, you’ll laugh at coal as you pass it, wondering why they even put it in the game as it isn’t useful for anything but fuel. It only burn half as long as oil, and oil is way easier to make.
There is also a lot of resources where the tower of bats is.Iron, coal, crystal, and if you go a little bit down south where sinners refuge is there is brimstone and named thralls. Also the Scorpion King is there and you can kill him over and over for the legendary weapons.
Also love the jungle, but have to mention gathering brimstone underwater is a very inefficient use of time. map room to volc for all ur brimstone needs. farm up the mobs there.
This is not the best idea. Go to Sinner's Refuge for Brimstone. It's near the starting area, the mobs are garbage, but you can farm almost infinite amounts there
Awesome vid! Was looking for just this for a long time but I didn't find anything so I just found my own area haha. Coal should probably be ignored tbh, unless it's a low-level base. Once you get fishing traps, oil is just so much more efficient. No more coal runs for me :P I would also say that the brimstone pickups are cool to have around if you live in swungle, but not to be relied on for true end-game brimstone farming. Much faster to map room over to a brimstone cave, since the pickup animation takes so long.
There isn't hardly any coal out there. It's definitely not efficient to go for tar that way where I live. I mean you can get some but you need a lot more than that.
Everyone misses one of the most perfect noob area places. it has access to two caves filled with iron and brimstone, A massive flat area surrounded by water for fish, enough wood and stone to build anything for starting and a short jaunt for coal and legendary chest. Also in the caves are three chests that give gold adn silver bars and coins for alchemy.
For those interested I did a little post on IMGUR for it. It's not hard at all to find on the map if you look for the tell-tale curve of the river and rock formation.

I cannot find any coal in the last jungle place on video theres plenty iron stone wood etc But not coal i just moved from my old base to hear in jungle please help
Tar also pours out of the Tannery, I have had half a dozen stacks of tar sat in a chest for weeks, what i produce daily more than covers what I need to make steel.
I didn't see a single flat area with enough space to build everything you'd need. Here build between this camp and the summoning place where there's no room, build right on the sulfur lake so you take up resource space, build right next to the rhino boss so you can't keep your thralls outside. Completely useless video
Iron - low tier... Iron = Steel/Harden steel = The best weapons/tools in the game or Steel Reinforcements = T3 Buildings and end game buildings. Unless you only kill towns to farm steel. Iron is with BARK/TAR one of the MOST useful resources in the game.
The fact that you farm iron to make steel lmao. Why not farm northern camps. 5 min to kill all npc in new asagarth and 250 steel bars plus other loot . Played since day one of release Bro so I'm pretty sure of my farming methods. All my steel fire goes on exp jars. Give it a go and see how dumb you feel
Martyn Carter Agreed. The Iron-Hardsteel ratio makes iron farming a bad idea. Northern thrall camps give a lot of steel, or if you have the obelisk just go to the Black Keep to kill skeletons and open chests. Outside the keep I think there are 5 chests (some of them slightly hidden) and you can make like 250 steel (and other goodies) in less than 30 min if you have a proper weapon to kill skeletons.

All your markers are to zoomed in no idea where they are ! I know rough locations but come on.
Serious? Open the map, it's so easy to find these locations even though they are zoomed in.

Pause the video and pull up the Map in-game to compare the locations. On a few though they did make it a little challenging.

Great video man! Very helpful and entertaining to watch. Good camera work 👍
Make sure not to build too close to a thrall campfire have about 50 block open area in my base because of one

Nice job..music was perfect for this video as well, I'm playing on console and just loving this game

That place is always where I build my Iron/Steel Workshop! So much Iron to be found and made up there
Gj man nice video, with more spot on the jungle/snow will be perfect
Strange to not include the area around Godsclaw passage - The Crevice up North. Infinity of iron.
thats where he builds :p
Not rly, it's an obelisk right north of it. So u just maproom around.
Amazing vídeo.

map room to closest obelisk to Sepermeru, The springs has as much brimstone as one could need
Well, those are mostly just combinations of resources. I thought there would be locations next to those resources to build on.

TelFiRE well most ppl will use the coal to make tar..
Forget tannery. Use the coal to make tar

John Ludlam what place do you speak of?
Yo. Please tell us where exactly this cave is! 😂 and do those chests respawn their loot after a period of time?

John Ludlam you’re awesome thanks for that
Where is location 6? You need to zoom out a little on the map so we can see where it is.
Great video. Which map do you use it? Looks awsome!
this is no help. your zoomed to close to the map i dont know where you are?
Nice Job
Lot of effort went into this. Definitely earned my sub.
Nice video, thanks for the info!

@@smskcntr Is that an in game mod or just a map on that website?

nice vid. man! where can i find the brimstone and silver at location 5 ? :D
ohh nice! big big thanks to you man! cheers! :D
What do you need all the coal for? 5 stacks last for a year or so
In fluid press COAL ==> TAR
lmfao who burns coal for fuel???
Tar also pours out of the Tannery, I have had half a dozen stacks of tar sat in a chest for weeks, what i produce daily more than covers what I need to make steel.
The spot with 2 pools /ponds is not good. If you die your body will move and sometimes go under the map
Joe DC what place number do you mean?
can you share this map ı didn't t find looks so good
can anyone tell me whats the background music?
thanks!! it was a great video man
Can't actually tell where these places are unless I've been there. because it's zoomed in..
Use your map, not hard.
What is the name of the song in the background?
good spot but easy to get raid..
And brimstone lake is bad brimstone location and you need sandstone or set mask
The lake it s a great spot bro i easy do 3k or more brimestone whith 1run, just need the mask, very easy to make
iTek7 Gaming Takes me 3 minutes to get 1600 from brimstone cave luckily base is 30s away
Earlchaos Ye if u stay near the cave for sure is better go there for u, i have the lake 2min away from my base so for me it's a great spot
N word Jimmy 3k=10min, if i need 8k i'll send my rookies ahaha
N word Jimmy cause i dont wanna stay all time 30min farming brimestone
Yet another video which could have been a simple list
I'm in o7 n7 and there is no coal on the range covered it all all the way to m7 m8
