In Germany, you can fand those rides in many of those small amusement parks. To me and many others living there, it's nothing special, but I find it funny how foreign people are so amazed by it :D
Maiky Jolling yes. And roller coasters are also not safe, because people lost their lives on them before. Nothing is safe based on your mindset - accidents can happen. It doesn’t mean that it isn’t safe. People died on all kind of rides before - only because 1 of probably 1.000.000 people suffers from an injury, it doesn’t mean that you should avoid amusement park rides. It’s way more dangerous to drive or to just walk in sidewalk
