- Basic Airborne Course is considered a specialised warfare course in the Nigerian Army. Nigerian Army paratroopers go through rigours of ground training, tactical and jump phases where they did five requisite jumps which included three high altitude jumps, a combat equipment jump, and a night jump.

What Secondary school military cadets do it in serious countries. Nigeria just always finds way to disgrace itself. Does anyone remember the disgraceful practice of Nigerian Soldiers parachuting in preparation for the stupid October 1st 2022 celebrations....they buffoons landed in traffic, destroyed some vehicles. When I spoke to a former school friend a Major in the British Parachute regiment one of if not the best parachute regiment in the world. He said this is a joke...he actually thought it was a Nollywood fim...LOL. All this PR they still have not dislodged Boko Haram or Fulani Bandits.

Having said that, Nigerian Military have successfully reduced them to virtually nothing as they don’t pose major danger. If you know history of armed conflicts, what will you then say about the former USSR that invaded Afghanistan(their neighbor) and fought the Muhajideen in 1979 for 10 years and never Won? Or how about the US and the rest of the World invaded the same Afghanistan and spent over $2 trillion with the most sophisticated weapons ever made but couldn’t defeat the Taliban??? The funniest think they ran out of Afghanistan and the Taliban took control of their country. Think with your brain and not anus. Nigerian army conquered Boko Haram. Security personnel in Africa are not trained to protect the citizens but the government in power, their allegiance is not to the country nor the constitution but to the government in power .
The President has to reconsider the importance of ECOMOG and recall how they were very effective during the Liberian Crises that the lead to America and her Western Imperial hargemonies thought that if left unchecked Nigeria could one day Challenge their Powers, so ECOMOG was desolved.
Kindly reconsider the essentials of this mighty Rapid Response Force in ECOWAS.

I really find it hard to say "thank you" to a Nigerian military personnel. An average military man in Nigeria is an oppressor. You try go put on a cloth that have same colour/pattern as the military uniform or go drive a car with military colour. You will understand my point. They will beat the hell out of you. They are mostly unprofessional and have tendency to abuse the citizens. No respect for the law either.
Was there any operation that Air Born Division was used to go beyond enemy lines and win battle or is this for show only? Why do we still have terrorists in forests and other enclaves in Nigeria wrecking havoc on Nigerians?

Is this unique? This is nothing special. Parachutes were used extensively during the Second World War and these were dangerous compared to this. I as a civilian can go for a jump for leisure, rubbish posturing as usual by a noisy military!
