Gosh what a cozy treat!!! I'm in love with every single piece you made, they look beautiful and so comfortable. We never have sweater weather here, so I'm living vicariously through you right now. And regarding your channel, whatever you feel like making will be an absolute delight. Your creative endeavours are so fun to see, and if you fancy sharing them with us please go ahead! I just adore hearing you talking about stuff, especially when you're so excited and passionate about it. Thank you for this wonderful autumn pie! Good luck with your knitting and have a great cozy week

AWWW I FEEL YOU COMPLETELY! Since its pretty warm here in the summer for me, I tend to postpone everything for the winter. If you have an urge to knit things regardless, I can recommend some crazy sweet knit toy patterns, or maybe small pouches etc? I am so so humbled you enjoy my wild ramblings!

I just want to say, this video literally made me pick up CHOPSTICKS and learn how to knit.
I've been on a crochet phase the past few weeks and I was just getting impatient with some projects (bc I ran outta yarn and now I have to wait for the next batch to arrive) and I've been listening to your vlogs again and just idk. Something clicked in my brain and I decided I wanted to follow your knitting podcast from the beginning WHILE knitting so i just... got some chopsticks, put em through a pencil sharpener and some sandpaper, and just started with what yarn I have left ajsghk so yeah thank you for being an inspiration

Lol that "tiny" sweater has much more ease in it than most of my sweaters XD I love tiny and even negative ease things :) Looks great on you!

Hhhahaha stooop!! To be fair tho, I also have negative ease, store bought turtleneck sweaters, and those somehow have more elasticity and feel "roomier" than my wee shrunken blunder 🥲

I love your content, even the non illustration stuff! I have also gotten into knitting, sewing, and needle felting and felt like it didn't fit with my illustration content. I am really encouraged to see you share knitting, sewing, and needle felting content, makes me feel less odd. Also your aesthetic and colors seem to come through in everything you make!

Hahah AWW! Thats so incredible heartwarming to read! I have made piece with myself a long time ago that I can't have just one hobby and eventually everything I do will spill in and out of my illustrations :DD Glad to see there are others like us

All of these look so beautiful and cozy! I've been looking for sweaters like these for a looong time 😍 I wish I had the patience to learn how to knit !

Thank you so much! I am actually quite the impatient person myself, but I also love keeping my hands busy cuz I tend to fidget, so it works out perfectly for me and I get to occupy myself while I watch movies/series! I still recommend you givev it a go! Even if it's something simple and quick like a garter stitch scarf (Sophie Scarf is a easy first one)!

Oh man! The good ol’ days of threadbanger. The OG crafting inspiration. I still want to make a hand felted beret because of them. 😂 I love your illustrations, but I equally love your knits and sewing. You have such a good eye for color and pattern. It’s always a pleasure to see what you’re making. 💕
*Edit* - I don’t think the No Frills sweater should shrink again once it’s been felted by the washing machine. I would double check online though. I knit socks for my bestie every Christmas and he’s done this to a few pairs 🥲 If you wanted to make the sleeve the same as the rest of the sweater you could try hand-felting it in hot water and soap.

Threadbanger ran so Pinterest can walk :DD I pretty much owe my ever growing fascination with all things crafty to them! And thank you so much for the sweet words and encouragement for the No Frills sweater. I think I will go ahead and knit the other sleeve longer as well ... not much more i can muck up with it anyway haha :D

Well, I definitely enjoyed this! Seeing your sweaters in the past has made me want to take up knitting again. But I’m always scared that I’ll never finish my project, (a half finished sweater has been staring at me since 2014…in my defence, it was too hard a project for my level of knitting expertise, so maybe I should start knitting again with a simple one. ) I look forward to the next video!

This is music to my ears! If I made at least one person get into knitting and experience the joy of making your own garment, one stitch at a time, I am immensely happy! Honestly, drop the sweater! Go back to basics, knit a simple beanie, or a long scarf in a simple pattern. Just enjoy the process and tackle the big stuff once you are confident. Life is too short to stress over WIPs!

You have an amazing eye for color! I love all of your work 🤩I'm about to start my own festival sweater - do you enjoy the single collar you did on yours? Did you do that out of necessity or preference? I love the way it looks. I'm afraid a folded collar will be too bulky... thanks for sharing all these 😙

Awww Julie that was so sweet to read! Thank you! I enjoyed the festival sweater a lot but yea, double collar is not my favourite. I love the look, however I dont enjoy the bulkiness of it. I think Its mostly due to preference and I also love the italian/tubular bindoffs, any time I can use them :))

I love your sweaters and knitting and art and everything, it's so wholesome and cozy 🥺 I wish I could knit my own sweaters too, but my brain doesn't want to. Also, I'm dealing with a pretty bad disease so it's a no go.
Do you take commissions? xD I'd hire you in an instant tbh 😅
💜 I just love your content and your personality. I'm always happy to watch a new uploaded Video✨

    • @ghostpuff
      @ghostpuff  Год назад +1

Hahaha thank you so much! Unfortunately I do not take commissions on knitting. Knitting takes an ungodly amount of hours, and if I were to price my time spent, at the lowest possible rate for my country, a sweater would end up costing more than 400 euro. That's not including the materials that would go into making one :DD If you are not up for it in making your own, I suggest you sneak the idea to your bestie/grandma/anyone who might get hooked on knitting, and patiently wait for christmas, when they will knit you a nice sweater/socks :DD
