Nice! I just went to Hawaii in November, and I also played this song while watching the sunset from the balcony of my hotel room. Hope you had a good time!
Brittney Waczovszky the sad part is the Stich! Series. Where LILO “abandoned” him and he ran away to Japan. Only saw lilo once with her daughter and never saw her again.
Today I landed in Hawaii for the first time in my life, but while they were announcing our descent, I looked out the window, towards the island below and this song just started playing in the back of my head, like regaining a lost memory. Thank you, Lilo and Stitch, still one of my favorite childhood movies of all time.

this songs plays during the concert practice at my school. one of the teacher uses this song n my tears came out, literally. I guess i miss my childhood while watching this movie with my siblings/cousins
If anyone is trying to sing along and is having trouble, turn it on 0.75 speed. It definitely helps. Not to mention it actually sounds really good at that speed, unlike in most RUclips videos where everyone sounds drunk if you slow it down.
thanks for not flagging this as kids content. Funcking youtube doesn't allow adding kids content to playlists. I just wanted to add this awesome song from my childhood a playlist so I can listen to it while drawing... .-.
This song makes me so happy. I recently rematches this movie and realized how happy it made me and so now as my family is being struck hard by some really hard times I love listening to this and the other song
Perfect song to listen to, while relaxing in Waikiki, Bali, Gold Coast, or Kuantan and watching the waves come in... And ready to jump in for a round of surfing!
Instantly transported back to my childhood. One day I’ll play this cruising down Hawaii & reminisce on being a little kid watching Lilo & stitch wishing I could do just that ! ♥️♥️♥️
Well, my little girl (now 19!) and I( now 57!!!) watched it a lot 15 years ago. We loved it so much we both took Hula, and learned a lot of the language. Unbelievably beautiful! Watched it yesterday!
We sang this in choir, it was amazing. We loved it so much that when we were freshmen, three years later, we watched Lilo & Stitch and sang it word for word
The Hawaiian language is one of the most beautifull language in the world ! I really want to hear more songs like this one or "He mele no lilo" any Hawaiian relative who can guive me some ??? :D Thank you to have such beautifull culture btw.
Man, I remember watching Lilo and Stitch when it came out in theaters. I'm 26 now. Those were the days, being young and hearing songs like this would just make your mind race. Incredible.
These things are becoming more and more of a novelty than anything. Only a select few are still able to stay afloat. Since everything is going digital, some people have become too lazy to enjoy the magic of drive-ins rather than the idea of streamed movies in a warm blanket.
I use to play this song while playing Call of Duty Modern warfare 3 ( 2011 version ) on story mode and my dad hilariously curious of me asking me " why are you playing that song in the middle of battle ???" And i told him " Hey its force of habbit "😅
It was talent day at school, so me and some other kids grouped up and researched everything Hawaii, so by the time the show was on, we did this song with a traditional Hawaiian dance. We won third place!

I'm learning this for a performance so thank you for uploading this I'm just trying to listening and preform like how they did. Or MAYBE... Just MAYBE... It was Gantu using 308 computers... Wait, no. Gantu would use maybe 150. Hamsterveil would do the rest.
this songs plays during the concert practice at my school. one of the teacher uses this song n my tears came out, literally. I guess i miss my childhood while watching this movie with my siblings/cousins
Comments: Exists
RUclips: Wait, that's illegal
So sad about it😔
why is comments in music videos illegal?
If anyone is trying to sing along and is having trouble, turn it on 0.75 speed. It definitely helps. Not to mention it actually sounds really good at that speed, unlike in most RUclips videos where everyone sounds drunk if you slow it down.
Omg ty
Its hard for me because i can sing from 35-1:07 the hawaiin words faster than the original sound. (No joke!!) So im used to that
thanks for not flagging this as kids content.
Funcking youtube doesn't allow adding kids content to playlists.
I just wanted to add this awesome song from my childhood a playlist so I can listen to it while drawing... .-.
I love so much this song and Lilo & Stitch is my favorite Disney movie. So many beautiful memories, thank you for sharing 💖
It's gonna be so great listening to this while playing Pokemon Sun and Moon!
Yes!
I was just thinking about that a couple seconds ago!! Big coincidence.
Joshua Cueva I was planning on doing it
Joshua Cueva 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Joshua Cueva I'm playing pokemon sun right now

This song makes me so happy. I recently rematches this movie and realized how happy it made me and so now as my family is being struck hard by some really hard times I love listening to this and the other song
Perfect song to listen to, while relaxing in Waikiki, Bali, Gold Coast, or Kuantan and watching the waves come in... And ready to jump in for a round of surfing!
I love this song so much pretty soon I'm gonna listen to it all day and every day ❤❤
Man this song is so good I love it
bruu i thought i was the only one who was hereee
I MAY be going on a Hawaiian cruise to the Hawaii islands in 2027!!!🏖🌴🏝🌋
Leaving out of California Coast!
Hope it works out!
"Ohana means family! Family means nobody gets left behind... Or forgotten..."
Instantly transported back to my childhood. One day I’ll play this cruising down Hawaii & reminisce on being a little kid watching Lilo & stitch wishing I could do just that ! ♥️♥️♥️
I’m very appreciative of this ! This helps me connect to my hawaiian tradition sometimes when I’m sad. 🌺💕 Thank you!
Glad I'm not the only one watching this over and over again in 2016 :)
Well, my little girl (now 19!) and I( now 57!!!) watched it a lot 15 years ago. We loved it so much we both took Hula, and learned a lot of the language. Unbelievably beautiful! Watched it yesterday!
I saw this movie 20 years ago today (July 14th) on my 10th birthday
I’m 30
Time flies man
I got my GBA that day
That was a time to be Alive. Lilo, stitch and pokemon? Doesn't get any better than that lol
we r singing this in choir! I'm so freaking excited 😄
Such a nice refreshing song, just like a refreshing vacation day at the sea. Always puts someone in a better mood.
As a person who hates the hot weather with a passion I can say I thoroughly enjoy this song. That's saying a lot...
oh back when disney channel had good show
And back when Toon Disney still existed :)
*Cough big city greens cough*
Man, I remember watching Lilo and Stitch when it came out in theaters. I'm 26 now. Those were the days, being young and hearing songs like this would just make your mind race. Incredible.
Pokemon Sun and Moon is forcing me back to Lilo and Stitch... the feels! :D
Ikr this should've been in Sun and Moons soundtrack
First time I saw this movie, my family and I went to a drive in. Remember when drive-ins were still a thing?
They're still a thing. I have one a little bit away from my house, and it's amazing when I get to go. I love that place.
sweet. they aren't dead. this makes my soul happy.
It's a cool thing to visit. It may sound odd, but it makes me think of the past.
These things are becoming more and more of a novelty than anything. Only a select few are still able to stay afloat. Since everything is going digital, some people have become too lazy to enjoy the magic of drive-ins rather than the idea of streamed movies in a warm blanket.
me too!
I use to play this song while playing Call of Duty Modern warfare 3 ( 2011 version ) on story mode and my dad hilariously curious of me asking me " why are you playing that song in the middle of battle ???" And i told him " Hey its force of habbit "😅
Who else is 25, misses when things were easier? this song hits differently now
I remember it was the first day of summer and we went to my local theme park and I remember playing this song on the highway on our way there.
Song gives me chillls takes me to a place when everything was ok ,problems weren't problems💙💙💙
It was talent day at school, so me and some other kids grouped up and researched everything Hawaii, so by the time the show was on, we did this song with a traditional Hawaiian dance. We won third place!
I love this song i remember i watched this growing up! Im hawaiian
What do the hawaian lyrics say?
@@melodyofflowers3889 I don't know Hawaiian but I do know the lyrics are very pretty.
This is my favorite Disney song 💙
0:27 "then on my surfboard out at the sea" really sounds like " tAkE oFf Ur ShiRt bOi I wEnNeH sEe!" LOL
Aloha e aloha e
'Ano 'ai ke aloha e
Aloha ae aloha e
A nu ay ki aloha e
There's no place I'd rather be
Then on my surfboard out at sea
Lingering in the ocean blue
And If I had one wish come true
I'd surf till the sun sets
Beyond the horizon
A wiki wiki mai lohi lohi
Lawe mai I ko papa he'e nalu
Flyin by on the Hawaiian roller coaster ride
A wiki wiki mai lohi lohi
La we mai iko papa he na lu
Pi'I na nalu la lahalaha
O ka moana hanupanupa
Lalala I kala hanahana
Me ke kai hoene I ka pu'e one
Helehele mai kakou e
Hawaiian roller coaster ride
There's no place I'd rather be
Than on the seashore dry, wet free
On golden sand is where I lay
And if I only had my way
I'd play til the sun sets
Beyond the horizon
Lalala I kala hanahana
Me ke kai hoene I ka pu'e one
It's time to try the Hawaiian Roller coaster ride
Hang loose, hang ten, howzit, shake a shaka
No worry, no fear, ain't no biggie braddah
Cuttin' in, cuttin' up, cuttin' back, cuttin' out
Frontside, backside, goofy footed, wipe out
Let's get jumpin', surf's up and pumpin'
Coastin' with the motion of the ocean
Whirlpools swirling, cascading, twirling
Hawaiian roller coaster ride
There's no place I'd rather be
Then on my surfboard out at sea
Lingering in the ocean blue
And if I had one wish come true
I'd surf till the sun sets
Beyond the horizon
A wiki wiki mai lohi lohi
Lawe mai I ko papa he'e nalu
Flyin by on the Hawaiian roller coaster ride
A wiki wiki mai lohi lohi
La we mai iko papa he na lu
Pi'I na nalu la lahalaha

i will never forget when i went to aulani (disney resort in honolulu) in 2016. best time of my LIFE! can’t wait to go back in 2 years
this song makes me smile! it's so beautiful and happy!
👍
I'm learning this for a performance so thank you for uploading this I'm just trying to listening and preform like how they did. I don't want to sound American like have an American accent while singing this song and I want to embrace and represent the culture in a good way. And not an igornant way so if anyone can help me maybe reading the lyrics if you speak Hawaiian that would mean the world to me. I'm so excited to preform this song everyone is complaining because they can't understand it but I don't care I really love this song. My favorite one were doing.
Nostalgic takes me back to my childhood💙💎🙏
This and Bethany Hamilton make me wanna learn how to surf!
YAS
I love Bethany Hamilton too!
SAME!
me too
Same
Music makes you take a look at your past accomplishments.
I love this song. Lilo and Stitch was one of the first movies I ever saw as a little kid so I have a very close connection to it. I love that movie to this day, and no one can change that.
''Ohana'' means family. ''Family'' means no one gets left behind, or forgotten........
Amen
My personal favorite Disney film of all time.
