Goku's voice was intended. He is not a manly man nor one who has a masculine voice as potrayed in the English Dub version where Sean Schemmel provides voice for Goku. Goku is a naive manchild who behaved just as much as he did when he was a kid. The reason every member of the Son family except for Chi-Chi is voiced by Nozawa Masako is because they are meant to represent innocence, childishness and naviety.
Really so man with a manly voice can't be naive & innocent?. A muscular adult (middle aged) goku with a girly voice is the most disgusting thing imaginable!. This is the BS about japanese & chinese, they try to have childish voice, cute features & innocent look, act very well mannered but can be (are too) merciless, ruthless, cunning & destructive. It kinda very well fits for their women but men having a girly voice, trying to look & act cute is just nauseating.

Comparing to adult Goku in Japanese version yes thats true haha. But little Goku's voice in the first show Dragon Ball was well done by the Japanese voice actress. Its just she isnt meant to do the same character when Goku's an adult. The Japanese version isn't perfect neither is the English one. One is not better than the other because they both have many flaws. Like I think FUNimation's dub of Yu Yu Hakusho is better than the Dragon Ball series dub. And Japanese dub better than DB japanese dub

Please, he may be 30, but he doesn't look like. Anyway u really can't see the age differents by looks in animes, the only differents is their size, big small, short n small, meanse they are still kids, tall and big than adult. And, the character GOKU, he is like, err, carefree, sometimes childish, not a care in the world, and bla bla bal, unlike vegita or freeze, they are serious, fierce, for vegita, you could say wise, lol. So, the voice do matters in this things.

Shenron stronger than Nail/Piccolo,7.Super 17 (2x17s) is stronger than Cell,8.Some characters look REALLY old 9.,All the other characters (even Saiyans) are nothing compared to Goku
