for windows alt tab twice and it disables lazers+ anti block fields for a short periord, i think its because the game takes a second to load them all in
Wazl You can also alt+enter for lag if you're playing windowed (alt+tab lag only works in fullscreen). One method or the other could be faster for some people depending on their machine. Pallidus uses the alt+enter lag. It doesn't freeze anything but rather just causes lag and the way the game compensates for lag is by skipping frames, so we can abuse the skipped frames by walking through lasers or disentigration fields if the game skips those frames.
I dont even understand how you passed the fuse room.... I was connecting them all, otherwise all doors are async. You just did some black magic and passed them all, wtf :)))
At the 11:00 mark, the recording glitches out and you end up having 7 cubes through the fizzler. What happened there? Having cubes in the last area completely breaks it.
The recording didn't actually glitch out there, what I did was intentionally lag the game by alt tabbing out and in to allow me to take cubes through the field.
Alex Hong I'm not sure if you still care after 2 weeks, but basically the timer sign is stored behind the wall that he clipped through and gets moved when the timer ticks to 0. If you clip outside the map (which can be done by standing against the wall, clicking on a puzzle, holding left and tapping escape), the game sees that you're next to the sign and shows it on the wall early. The only other way to get this would be to wait the rest of the time, which wouldn't be much of a speedrun). Because it takes so long to reset after you clip outside the map (and of course you lose your gun until you restart the game) it's the last thing to happen in the run, so timing can stop as soon as the sign shows up in the save tracker which I'm guessing Pallidus was using but just not recording. The reason the graphics are so messed up is because the engine doesn't bother to render a background if you're always fully indoors, so the old images of what you're looking at just stay there and can create some cool patterns if you move the mouse about. Sorry for long sentences (I have a rather long-sentenced way of writing in case you didn't notice :P) and I hope this helped. :-)
1:32 wow man.. you are like a ninja
That's in every 120 signs run, and every any% lagless run.
That looks pretty easy
You made it to GWR 2015 Gaming Edition! :D .
You play this game too much dude :D
i know the fatest normal pathway to all guns
That was a lot of impressively timed lag you've used in the speedrun. What trick had you used to create that lag?

He dragged them all out, since he already got the better gun.

Thanks! I can't believe it's been two weeks. I understood he was clipping out of the rooms, but I had no idea why! Thanks for the quick response! :)

A lag glitch
So hard :o
