Hi, I certainly remember those 1950 to 1955 range of Bush radios. As a 16 year old, at the start of my apprenticeship, I was given most of the old radios, record players, radiograms, along with the older televisions (box sets as they were referred to LOL) to repair. Apprenticeships those days were a valid excuse to pay five years of ‘lower wages’ LOL. Both Bush, and Murphy (before they became amalgamated into the Rank Organisation) were my top favourite brands. Thank you for uploading this enjoyable video. Phil
Hi Rod, your videos are really interesting, i got my hands into a B-1 radio pilot mfg. I want to make it work since it was my grandpas, and i want to make it work to be able to give it bakc to my grandma, do you have any advice
Hi Everardo, It would not be safe for you to tackle this radio without some knowledge of electronics as this is a "hot chassis" model and without using an isolating transformer. I can send you however some technical service diagrams for this radio if you send me your e-mail address so you might get a local radio enthusiast to fix it for you as this would greatly help.

A very enjoyable video. The cabinet is looking so much better now. Thank you for sharing, looking forward to seeing your next installment.
We used to have one of these in our kitchen. Had a lovely mellow sound.
Very tidy layout! Must have been a joy to repair.
