You can only do it when you have 2 characters left and your opponent uses a super - you basically trick the game into tagging in your dead character for a moment when your opponent does the super. I remember seeing Fchamp using it to deal with Vergil swords, etc a lonnnng time ago.
This might be dumb to ask, but is there a way to map 3 controllers/sticks to 1 input and have 3 people control a team. Whoever is in control can call assists, but if they die, DHC, get snapped or hard tag, the other teammate has to immediately take over. Honor system to not touch the sticks when it isn't your turn.

I'm talking about red recoverable hitpoint(HP): When you lose HP as a point character, you will have half of the lost HP as red recoverable HP (and full red recoverable HP when you lose HP as assist); Strider was on point but got red recoverable HP like he was an assist !!!

I literally have no idea why this game is still being streamed.. it's literally the same boring teams over and over. It's all meta, make a video of just ONLY off-meta characters and I'm down to watch.. maybe even donate.
Because it's still amazing to watch. For a decade old game I honestly think we have quite a few different teams performing at the high level, and love to see TNS keeping this game alive.

TNS has Ratio tournaments and Palette swap monthly so there’s more than enough. Even in regularly weekly’s they have Chris, Akuma, Ryu etc.
