He wasn't even a Demi-God at first, he was a human, but yet his reason to married Lucretia because of the crowded people are watching is really ridiculous, he didn't even have a true reason to love her. That was his first mistake, and when he became a Celestial, he did care for Lucretia but not entirely about the family he had created with her. That's why he didn't hesitate to kill her son as some other Gods are ignoring humanity. Athalia is also on this list as well, she was a mortal human too.
This I really late but I do agree completely and my favorite thing about awakened Athalia is that she doesn’t have a visor anymore, which feels like a very poetic way to say she isn’t blind to humanity anymore.

Poor Athalia she did her best to help the child return to her mother. Even though she's quite all through out the journey, protected the child until she gets back to her mom. The pain she must have felt when she learn the child's fate. It's a painfull awakening for sure.
So that's how we got Ascended Athalia! Animation is pretty good, the muted colours (sepia?) for most of the animation served as a great contrast for the more visually intense effects, although most of it is still quite muted. Great job overall! Does make us want to learn more about the character
