@@PalloneWafer dont really agree. They're different from what other fighting games look, but they have their own charm, especially darker ones, like the rainy street stage with an arcade and the dark ghetto with a flashlight shadow on the wall stage.
You are completely wrong, CvS has the most beautiful art and style, and the visual identity is amazing. This game is aged like a fine wine. The stages are outstanding, the soundtrack is incredible, the sprites are awesome, the HUD and menus styles are the top notch, and there isn't any fighting game like this!

Looks like improper alpha texture emulation. You can fix that in some emulators.(i.e. Flycast), but it's a bit slower.
